hi...I have recorded the GNR lisbon show.

all files have about 95 Mb and audio bitrate from 192 to 256.
If there is any problem with the files, just say something...don?t forget that this a homemade rip, so... ;)

I think yes...but just at the end of the week....the dvd have about 3,4 G.....it is divided by the songs with a menu..but it is a very bad menu, with no style...so if you like well designed mens you wiil have to do one yourself..... :P..hehe....

I can make fairly decent menu's! Just grab a program called DVD-Lab that works best!

I don?t have experience with making menus for dvds.. :P, but can you make me one and email me, if I tell the number and the name of the songs.?..of course that i do the rest, like insert the songs...i have pinnalce studio...

you can change that:


first: delete all your cookies!
second: unplug your adsl connection and wait few minutes.
third: connect again and happy downloads!

so what exactly is the difference between SIC and AOL broadcast? I mean difference in both audio and video

Content: AOL is very complete, SIC is very incomplete (no new songs, not all solos, etc.): about 45 minutes less (!)
Video: SIC has different camera angles, resolution is higher than AOL and video bitrate is higher as well
Audio: SIC has a better sound and a better mix (still not perfect though)

SIC kicks ass but is very incomplete. :( AOL is complete but quality isn't really good.

I'm fairly sure he's got the same version we all have (those who recorded it): a big 1.2GB file of the whole show. I got it too but it would take too long to upload the whole thing. A torrent is out there though, check the other threads.

Like I said, this is the same version we all have. My splitted links on my site have been re-encoded for space and uploading purposes. That's why the total size of my splitted videos is about 600MB, instead of 1.2GB (original broadcast size). So yeah, of course the version that's twice as big has a better quality. Like I said, the complete version, like sladdi has, is available in a couple of torrents out there.

Yeah, I was talkin about the audio from audience recording. It could sound good with a proper mix with the broadcast source and some work on the audio. At least, we could hear the guitars at some points..

im currently downloading the first one that was available, its 1.72 gb in asf format, does anyone know about that?

1.7GB seems pretty big. It must contain the soundboard preparation and stuff (which lasted for like 30 minutes before the actual show).

you don't need to do it. i think there are some people here in this forum who can do this..

That menu looks fine to me. Let's not waste time by sending DVDs from a country to another just to make a menu. If it's really needed, me or someone else can create a menu for it, but for the time being, just getting the show (which just contains AFD + "UYI" btw) is more than enough I think. As long as you can select songs...

Anyway, just my 2 cents.

The only reason it is so big is because it contains the Darkness after the GNR show.  Like about 15 minutes if I remember right.  When I downloaded it, it was out of sync.  I threw it out.  I already had a asf file of my own that was 1.4 gb anyways but I seen the bigger file size and thought it would have a better quality to it.  It did not.

I am anxiosly awaiting this DVD.  Don't really care about the menu as I'm sure someone somewhere will eventually add one to it.

Maybe because they are named .divx and not .avi. Try change the file extension from .divx to .avi. Or use a good burning software like CopyToDVD (I used it once and never went back to Nero).

Will made a good suggestion, but if you want to use nero just get a program that converts .divx to .avi. Just google "divx avi convertor" and you should find one.

This method may result in a loss of quality though.

what i did was just changed what files it can take

(im not a computer expert)

like when i went to browse, it wanted to look for supported files, and i changed it to all files and i could add them

so when i finally get RQ and NR im going to burn it and hopefully *fingers crossed* itll work

I simply changed the extension from .divx to .avi on my computer and burned them with CopyToDVD. It works fine on my stand alone DVD player.

I downloaded this, and this is far better than those divx files, better sound quality also..

There's nothing wrong with the quality of the dvd I downloaded as it's not the horrible fan made version that was available for download previously.

Forgive me for being slow, but what are the major differences between this and the PAL that was on the PC tracker?  Just fookin' burned the other one and I'd also hate to lose the additional tracks that were added onto that one.
