What I'm doing for Memorial Day weekend: Doing my laundry, going to the bookstore, relaxing and doing some writing. I'm a little shocked that no one is doing anything to honor those who died.? It seems that most of you are just looking at memorial day as a vacation day with no respect or understanding for what the day means.? I already placed American flags on the graves of veterans.? It's ashame that people so quickly forget the sacrifices of others. I thought it was just a time to honor people that had come and past but I didn't know it was for those who had died in a time of war. Thanks for letting me know. |
