I thew him an email the other day and got a reply back, just a friendly few lines to say thanks for the welcome, see me in london, etc. (also he might be thinking of dropping the bbf moniker) Axl is a reclusive genious, and that works for him, I even think it's what's helped to keep the GnR myth alive, but new GnR could also do with folks like bbf reaching out to the fans too. (not to disrespect any of the other guys, I've met Tommy before and he was real friendly, and The others coald be as well for all i know.) GOOD TO HAVE YOU ON BOARD MATE!

Post by: ben9785 on May 22, 2006, 06:42:53 PM I agree that he has become my favourite member of GNR, not only did i seriously underestimate his playing abilities, but he is so fucking awesome, so nice, so accepting and friendly to fans...what ended up being one short email i sent to him is at least one exchange every day, he always replies to everything i ask about guitars or rehearsing with GNR (he doesnt say much though understandably) and he's not bothered one bit by all the fan mail he has to go through.
