i hate it when people are only 4 or 5 years older than someone else and they act like they are so much more wiser and mature than the other person. like they've been around forever. get real man  ::)

It depends man, you don't know this girl for real.  I'm not dissing any of you younger people, i'm pretty f'n immature at times.  I'm just saying it sucks when you break up with some one for doing childish shit, and then they just do more childish shit ya know.

4 or 5 years may not seem like a huge difference but when the ages fall between 18 year olds and 24 year olds there si a huge difference in the way people handle and eeal with things. Think about it. A 23 year old has been out of highschool for 5 maybe 6 years. A 19 year old has been out of highschool for one maybe two years. there's a big difference there.  Admit it, the way a 29 year old and a 25 year old deal with a  break up is likely far more similar to each other than how a 23 year old and 19 year would deal with it.

I read in a book one time that the difference between 21 and 17 is huge. I'm turning 21 in about 42 days and trust me, I am a hell of a lot different today than I was then.

Yeah there is a big difference between the late teens and early twenties. Although, I've always heard that women mature faster than men...
