I am very interested in the 12th and 17th.. (I was there for the 12th and the 17th has Izzy on it) are they on par with the flac recordings from the 14th and 15th?

there are the following versions available RIGHT NOW:

12th, 17th - just average quality MP3
14th, 15th - good quality FLAC - torrented at dimeadozen.org and tracker.gunsnroses.us (this one is easy to register at, I recommend this one if you're unable to register at dime)

we're getting video of all 4 shows (I think at least 2 shows will be from more sources), so maybe we're getting better quality audio of 12th and 17th as well.

to ROSE who originally started this thread - if you can, download these via torrent for free : ok:

I'am looking for both 14 and 15/05/06 on cd (Audio), the dankrass recordings : ok:
I'd download these but firstly my connection is very very slow and I dont know the first thing about Flacs and Torrents. So if someone would be willing to trade for a copy of each show please PM me and we can sort things out.
By the way is the sound quality on these as good as everyone seems to be saying.

For boots, YES. Some of the best I have ever heard (and I have about 10gb worth of GnR boots to compare it to.)

It's not "CD" quality audio, but as close as you are ever going to get for an unofficial live recording unless you get a soundboard (which sound funny to me).

Well... I am not sure I would "trade" since I didn't pay anything for the shows. I want to respect the person's wishes who is the source of the audio and not convert it to mp3. I guess .wav would be ok ( that should play in a CD player once I burn them).

The files are freaking huge I think it would take like 4 cd's. I need to figure out how to convert the files to .wav for burning first (all my boots stay on my harddrive for the most part).

Why don't you PM me with your address, I'll see what I can do about converting these files to .wav and burning them (give me a day or two).

it would be fine to trade i wouldnt worry your not makin a money profit as for putting them on CD covert the flac to Wav and then burn them lossless Cd which will play on most standard Cd players

So like CD-R (Memorex Gold?) as opposed to CD-RW?

each show will fit onto 2 cd's. If you get the nero plugin for flac yu dont even need to convert it to wav in order to burn them.
