But Why cant some of these "fans" give axl a break? Dont get me wrong, I am an old school gunner, love the old guys. In fact, If I had my choice, I would like the original guys together. But come on, Loving gnr at the time met loving the lead singer also. None of us on these boards will never know what is like to live the life of a rock star as big as axl was at the time. Everyone handles things differently right? He could have took the pussy way out, and ended his life like some of these guys do who dont want the lime light, ot cant handle it. Why do we always have to hear the word "recluse"? People have been bitching for years that he is not doing anything, That was by his own choice, and I for one respect that. But now he is back! Again, by his choice, so why are people still so hard on him? I know the whole cover band thing, new guys playing other peoples songs, but I really believe that the new album will define this new group. Let me ask this, when you listen to paradise city from AFD, it is axls voice that you like, so on may 12th 2006, it was the same voice, so why bitch? Remember journey? Steve perry was the voice of that band, he left, they kept the name and still tour and release material, I bet none of us can name one new song from the new band. A great band (slash, duff, izzy, matt, steven, dizzy, fortus, brain, buckethead, bumblefoot, finch, etc) is always headed by a great front man, AXL ROSE!

Nothing will ever top the "old band" but I went to the show on the 15th, and it's apparent the new band is coming together, they are/will be awesome and as long as Axl Rose is the frontman GNR will be great.
