Title: Dragonforce Post by: BLS-Pride on May 19, 2006, 12:08:38 AM I'm pretty new to this band. From what I heard its pretty kick ass metal. Very 80's influneced which is done quite good.
dragonforce.com has tracks up and from what I heard they are pretty good.. Anyone know about these guys? It's basically what you get from cloning Yngwie Malmsteen and making a whole band out of him. It's great in small doses, but I don't listen to Dragonforce too much. It's cheesy, fun, guilty-pleasure metal that I enjoy occasionally.

It all ends up sounding the same - might be good from a technical point of view but its rather emotionless stuff, maybe the first instance of a band thats better to watch than hear! I do like a little, mainly because i enjoyed watching the video and the guitarists facial gestures whilst getting all twiddly on our asses.
