I find this disturbing.  GNR has played 3 tremendous sellout shows in NY, presumably in support of the single most delayed and mysterious album of all time, and there isn't even a mention of it during the shows.  Then we have quotes from Fortus saying they plan on recording songs with BBF.  Then we have Axl quoting that they have 2 albums of material where the majority of the music and lyrics are complete.

I know Axl has indicated that it will be out late November, early December (presumably for xmas sales), but I have my doubts.  Things are still so up in the air that Axl won't mention CD on stage.  Maybe I'm just paranoid, but my gut says no chance of CD in 2006. 

Forget the Xmas sales idea - Axl aint interested in good timing.

If he was, it would have been released already. Lets just sit tight on autumn for now.

Axl said in the Rolling Stone interview that out of 36 songs, 28 were done.  Why hasn't that number progressed?  We couldn't have recorded anytime during the past 4 months?

If he thought that CD had a serious shot of coming out in 2006 he would mention it on stage...right?  I mean it only makes sense to market your material and what better way to do that than to talk about it between songs that might actually be on the record.
