I'd hate to think he plays a few shows, they dismiss him and try someone else out. That would just slow down all the progress that has already been made in just 4 nights. It's probably just a matter of time before he gets the official word that he's in.

Either that or he is just holding out for the release to coincide with a U.S. tour which is probably the true reason.
