Wednesday night.

It's make or break for an Izzy appearance. I think he'll be there. It would make sense to have him on the last show.

yeah, it would seem an Izzy kind of thing to do to pop in on the last night at the last moment

I wish but i dont think hes showing up... i think axl confirmed it when he said Izzy called him to ask how the shows are going and wish good luck... If izzy had a plan to show up he would just show up and see for himself...

with how much axl has been talking highly of him I am confident, I'll be looking for him, and it would be a nice way to say thanks and goodbye to us till whenver

it would be very nice to see Mr Stradlin again...

I just don't see Izzy showing up on stage, playing music w/ GNR, I don't have my hopes up at this point.

i would love and am wishing that izzy shows up. however i was talking to somebody who met up with izzy in the city last week and got his autograph and shit and he said that he already left new york to go home. now, i dont know if that is true, thats just what i heard

No matter how thrilled I would be to see Izzy onstage with Axl again, I think it would be a mistake, even a passing one.  This is the time to establish and validate the GnR of now, not let them be further haunted by the past.  It might only be one song, or even one show, but the focus would be quickly taken away from what the new band is out to accomplish.

Just my opinion, of course. :peace:

I hope whoever goes to this show gets a a special treat like an Izzy appearance, the people at the first show got "There Was a Time".. would be cool to see people at this last show to get something unique as well.

I cannot agree enough. I think all the people hoping/waiting to see Izzy are just setting themselves up for a big let down.

I had the time of my life on Friday night and it was partially due to the fact that I went in with no expectations.

I talked to someone on Monday following the show, and he confirmed that Izzy did reherse a few songs with GnR.  However, at the last minute, decided not to go through with the 4 shows.

i agree man, its awsome that he showed and played some songs, lately with matt sorum and now izzy hanging out with axl, it shows that maybe one day the old lineup just might play a show together, as for writing and makin an album together i don't see that, but i do see them playing together, most likely went they get inducted into the rock n' roll hall of fame... but back on topic, it fuckin rocks to hear izzy was with axl at least one more time

The place went fucking wild when Izzy came out for Think About You.  He seemed real happy and it was incredible to see Axl and Izzy hug on stage.  Kid Rock was fucking great with Night Train too.

I admit i was skeptical about kid rock too a few years ago, but after breaking down and giving him an honest chance he is actually really good and quite the talented singer, guitarist, songwriter...I mean i don't like everything but there is a certain aspect and style to some songs that i absolutely think is incredible.
