The 12th was my first time seeing the post UYI lineup, so when they all ran on stage during "Jungle" - Fortus, who has a similar Izzy/Gilby vibe, Thal (again, a bit like Gilby), and Finck - now looking like Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes - I had no idea who I was watching on guitar for the first few songs... Robin looks like a pirate, Bumblefoot has his own style, Brian/Brain has his look, Axl has a new look and the metal, rock look has gone. It's all good. Bumblefoot fits the ban well, more so than Buckethead, although i am happy Buckethead was in GnR, as i would never have got to hear about him, and not owned about 10 Bukethead albums like i do now : ok:
I think Dizzy is about the only GnR member that looks metal/rock n'roll and maybe needs to sort his act out :hihi: come to think of it, GnR the sound has changed too, to match their new style. It all makes sense now, there really is no place for the likes of Slash ot Duff in the new GnR line up. They just wouldn't fit in, and are probably better off in VR. Serious.
