And during the 2002 shows Axl looked stupid with a bandana on his head with braids in, and it would especially look stupid with the clothes he's wearing now.

I appreciate the image and all that, but it's in the past, and that kind of style has been done to death now..

I for one think the bandanna is a great part of his image. But it's not needed when his hair is tied back.

ah, it's not necessarily that the bandana might not look good with his hair braided or tied back or whatever,

like i tried to argue, it's something that's become cliched now particularly, and nowadays bad enough people look for image more than the music substance..its good for Axl just to have a stripped back kind of image; and yeah, we should ultimately just be greatful they're back on tour, and Axl is showing up heh

Come on... it's one of his signature looks.... I think he should break it out for Paradise City if nothing else... even with the braids...

It is not 1987, 1990, 1992 or 1993... I for one would like to see a new look to go along with new music. If Axl locks himself into the same look as then, then he and the new band are locked into comparisons even more with it. New band, new music (we hope), new look.... as it should be.

He looked great in RIR 3 with the bandana.  But it will only work when he loses the braids.  I wouldn't mind if he whipped it out for some old school songs.  Maybe 1 appearance a night for the bandana.  That would be nice, don't ya think? :peace:

I don't think he'd look bad with the hat on backwards catcher style. I don't know but you know he wheres it also to catch all the sweat especially in the summer heat with all that lighting.

From an aesthetic point of view (who gives a fuck?), a bandana doesn't go well with braids.

Anyways I always like a high forehead.
