Title: Philosophical question of the month-May: Part II
Post by: RichardNixon on May 12, 2006, 02:53:31 AM
Since the fart thread was locked. :hihi:

Would you rather examine life and recognize its beauty as well as its horror, or would you rather be just ignorant and content??

I wanna discover stuff, so i'll take the first option.? It's true that ignorance can be bliss, but I dunno if I could truely be content just to live out a quiet existence without any adventure.? Maybe that's what we're all destined for anyway but I wanna learn as much as I can about this world while I have the chance.

i tried ignoring because i used to get very upset and depressed, thinking we killed beauty and got more and more absurdities.

I can't ignore.

1st option ( + prozac lol )  ;) ;D  :crying:

I look at it like this.

Id rather have the ultimate highs in life then just be consistently level.

People look at pain and misery the wrong way.

Pain and misery and those ultimate lows arent necessarily bad things, thats where people fuck up and do dumb shit like get hooked on drugs or become alcoholics.

The low times are when u grow, learn and become the overall person u are meant to be.

U cannot evolve without pain.

So id much rather go through great times, bad times, tragedies, elation, than just be bored all the time.

People are too afraid to die and u cant enjoy life until u are no longer afraid of death.

U can sit in your house for 50 years and never leave, have the perfect diet, regular medical checkups but trust me, u are still gonna die.

So id rather have 50 great explosive years of 'LIFE"

Than 80 years of mediocre nothing.

To quote Bon Jovi again

"Just because your breathing that dont mean that youre alive, dont wanna live forever, just wanna live while im alive"! : ok:

examine the world and recognise beauty and horror and absorb the glory and majesty of the lord.
