Here Today... Gone To Hell!

I am pleading in the vain hope that someone will read this and have the power to make my dream come true!

I have been with my boyfriend a year now  :love: and the only way he said he'd marry me is if  the original Guns n Roses regroup and play a gig in England.  This being my boyfriends favourite site I thought this would be the best place to start my search.

I have a glimmer of hope that someone on here must have some connections to the great musicians and can pass on my plea.

 

A couple things:

1.  Your boyfriend in effect told you that he'll marry you when hell freezes over.  I'm not saying that to be mean; if you followed the band, you would understand that an original member reunion is practically impossible.

2.  I am no expert in relationships, far from it in fact.  But I don't think it's a good thing if your ultimate dream is to marry a guy who says he'll marry you in exchange for your efforts in negotiating a rock band reunion.  Take a step back and reevaluate.

My boyfriend has filled me in on the ups and downs of the band and has identified that hell would freeze over before a reconcilliation could be met, which would explain my 'vain hope'. 

However, my determination may pay off in some way even if the band do not, and i have no doubt that it is an impossible feat, get back together.   : ok:

maybe if we all had girlfriends like this....  ;D

It will probably happen, but not for a while. Not this year, anyway. Didn't the Eagles say that they would reunite when Hell froze over, and didnt it seem unlikely that the original members of KISS would reunite in makeup and costumes?

I think you missed the point of this thread. She was talking about the real GNR playing again, not the whatever guys axl could hire to hangout with him gnr.

I was joking, and no, i haven't missed the point, i ignored it.

In fact, i just thought the thread was positively stupid and made up.

I don't even believe she/he is about to get married and should it be the truth ( in which case i apologise), the fiance is mad and she should not marry him.

What's next ? " nah, no kid unless ET sucks my xxxx ?"
