Title: Another Animal (Ugly Kid Joe singer with Godsmack musicians) Post by: DMJ on May 10, 2006, 06:45:39 PM anyone heard of this sideproject? the self titled album "Another Animal" is coming out in september, its a Godsmack side project started by ex-Ugly Kid Joe drummer and current Godsmack / Amen drummer Shannon Larkin, and he got Ugly Kid Joe's singer Whit Crane to sing and it also has Godsmack bassist and guitarist, he said it sounds like a mix of Sabbath and Faith No More - Angel Dust era, should be cool, its already recorded and the artwork is being done by the guy who did darkside of the moon.

UKJ ruled, i even liked the shortlived band Medication. UKJ were more than one hit wonders, and Whitfield Crane was a top vocalist, he's done 2 cracking covers for Metallica tribute albums, the tracks Welcome Home (Sanitarium) & Master of Puppets were really well done. Haven't heard any Godsmack to my knowledge.
