Here Today... Gone To Hell!

Why are people thinking this. Axl said the new guitarist is NOT from the past, so that means izzy and slash are out. Also, he said izzy might show up at the hammerstein gigs, yes that is to WATCH and not PLAY. If he was to play it would just be for a song for two but that is it.

It's just speculating really. A bit of fun before the big show.

lets get this straight.Axl said there is a new guitarist but its nobody from the past.he also said izzy might be at the shows but im sure he meant as a spectator.thats why poeple think izzy is in the band

i have no idea. personally i never thought izzy would rejoin.....

personally so did i but axl confirmed it isnt anybody from the past in that radio show.but who knows,axl could be covering.

Like the slash will join after the NY shows. So dumb, because those shows are this week and they know he is not joining and they just want to keep the BS rumors going he is joining for another month

Who is saying he IS the next guitarist?  I haven't seen that anywhere.

I dont think its Izzy.... anyone who listend to the interview wouldnt think it was izzy... i think he made it 1000 percent clear its not izzy

I dont think Izzy is the new guitarist but i do know from what i heard of the night train rehearsal that it sounded bluesy as hell like someone else said.  That was amazing and then someone started shreading.  I dont know who that could be but it was amazing sounding.

I don't think it is Izzy.
However, I would love to see him in the band and Fortus and Fink handle leads.  We'll see what happens on Friday, I am anxious to see who the 3rd guitarist is.

The title of this thread is "why does everyone think Izzy is the new guitarist?"... and so far NO ONE thinks that.   :o

You can't rule out the possibility that Izzy might show up and if he does, he might get on stage and play a couple of songs... but everyone heard the interview and everyone heard that even Axl himself has no clue when it comes to Izzy.

I don't think he will join, but if he gets up and plays a song or two it wouldn't entirely surprise me.

Have you looked in the other threads or threads on other boards, people keep saying OMG izzy is back

i don't really think so.. from the trunk interview.. it sounded like baz was pretty much just as in the dark as we all are.. plus i don't recall him playing with anyone.. that would be considered that outstanding..
