Here Today... Gone To Hell!

Sadly to say, every night for me, maybe  on a good week six nights. I don't get falling down drunk, but I have 3-5 beers every night. And I go to  the gym to maintain  my weight so I don't weigh 500 pounds.

Now that I'm not pregnant anymore, I usually have 1 glass of wine most nights.  I can't drink any more than that or I wouldn't wake up when the baby needed me. 

not too often... maybe 2 or 3... there are plenty of weeks I don't drink at all. Depends.

It really depends on my schedule for the week. Lots of parties, lots of drinks. But sometimes there are weeks I don;t drink at all. I'm mostly a social drinker.

Mostly just a social drinker. I cant remember the last time I bought a six pack and actually finished it. I usually keep a bottle of good rum for the nights that I know I dont have to work in the morning. I'll make a big glass of rum and coke or a real strong Pat Obriens Hurricane.

Well my last drink was beginning of march and i dont plan on having one again probably till the weekend of gnr 9,10,11 june just not big on drinkin too expensive.

im not much of a drinker...on average once a month...but the world cup is coming...that might increase my average a bit :hihi:

One or twice a week something like once every six weeks or so.


Once I'm 18 though I'll be out every weekend.

I can't afford any artificial joy :no:   if I could, I'd probably have a few drinkis every night but as it stands, maybe once or twice a week

i rarely drink, most of the time i just smoke that good shit but from time to time i will take a beer or three with friends.

I'd probably be better off aswering how many night's out of the year do I drink.

I used to binge every Friday and Saturday, but not so much anymore. I want to quit drinking beer at least, but I usually end up having a few on a Monday night. I haven't been out at the weekend too much recently, but I guess that once the summer comes and I get another job..................

I don't drink very often.  Well, now that I'm in University for the summer, it may pick up once again.  In my first year, I binge drank 3 times a week.  Disgusting.  I'll probably have a drink once a week now, with most of those being casual drinks.  Gotta stop drinking beer though.

Friday Night, Saturday Night and Thursday Nights I get wrecked. The rest of the week I have some brews with dinner.. Especially now that its warm.. Nothign goes with a BBQ like a cold brew.

......Actually, though, in all seriousness.  Not many.  1 maybe 2, only whisky or brandy though, i stick with the spirits these days, with my training at the gym and maritial arts and stuff i don't want to be drinking stuff with tons of calories in e.g. lager, guiness etc.  I prefer smoking green really, in moderation i get away with it now, smoking cigarettes was the big problem, not because they are more harmful but just because i had so much more though i quit those no problem.

i do have a few cans at home but i never get pissed unless its say a family BBQ or wedding etc etc.ive started drinking guiness over the last couple of months and noticed ive put on a few pounds so ill have to cut down on it.every year when the weather changes at the end of winter when the later nights start rollin in and the days become warmer,i start drinking more.i plan on drinking lots this year for its the chinese year of the GNR  :hihi:

WAY TOO MUCH

Usually I'll drink at least twice a week on Friday and Saturday. I stick to spirits mostly, mainly whisky and rum. Maybe a better topic would be how many drinks do you consume per week/month.

I used to drink ALOT every day... for years i did that...  I just finally got tired of feeling like shit all the time so now i usually only drink on the weekends when i dont have to work the next day.

Usually 2 - 4 times a week.? Sometimes more, sometimes less.? But I don't typically get hammered except on weekends... I'm good? ?;D

for a while in the teens and early twenties I was drinking everyday... Now this up coming week with seeing 3 shows I will be drinking way to often :hihi: I am as big of an acoholic as they come, I just try not to drink anymore, gym fills the void.. Funny vcause when I do drink I intake like I did years ago, funny how that mentality never changes..

Zero for me.  I'm in drug rehab and they say I shouldn't drink because they don't want alcohol to replace my previous addictions, which makes total sense I guess.  9 or 10 weeks clean right now and I honestly have no urge to either drink or do drugs.  Sobriety is my new drug of choice and I can't get enough of it.

At the beginning I was kinda blaming my professional environement (Advertising), but hey, let's face it, I love parties and booze :beer:

Sobriety sucks... its very boring.... what kind of drugs are you in rehab for?

Wow, I can't believe you think it sucks.  You must not have ever been dope sick then.  I am in there for every drug, but this place (my 2nd rehab center this year) specifically specializes in Heroin and Oxycontin addiction.  I have been a heavy OC addict for about the last 16 months.  It kicked my ass very bad.  I have sold almost everything I own in order to get my drugs.  I was doing about 320-360 mg a day.  If I couldn't get Oxy, I was popping about 25-35 percicets.  Yes, 25-35 Percs at once.  Usually it wouldn't do shit for me though.  Let's put this drugs power in perspective:  A 40 mg OC is equal to 8 500mg Percs.  That's insane.  Some think OC withdraw is worse than Heroin withdraw or that it is more addicting.  I don't have a good opinion on that.  But I do know all about not being able to get drugs and being dope sick.  Diaharea (spelling?), puking in the toilet right after you just got done shitting, body aches out the ass, uncontrollable cold sweats, being super super irritable.  Imagine the worst flu you have ever had and multiply by at least 20.  And it's constant.  It doesn't go away.  I am on the drug Suboxone (A relatively new drug for the treatment of OC) right now, which takes away my dope sickness and does not allow Oxycontin to work if I attempt to take it.  I'm done with that shit.  I'm 3 months into my 18 month program and SOBRIETY DOES NOT SUCK AT ALL.  I have so much money and feel amazing.  I don't spend my whole fucking day trying to get drugs.  I have my friends and family again and am working on getting the love of my life back right now, which is looking hopeful.  So any drug addicts here that feel there is no hope, thats a bunch of shit.  It was hard as fuck for me to do, but I'm alive right now and telling about it.  They say life gets better and better every day and that's a bunch of shit.  I'm on anti-deppresents and anti-anxiety medicine and I still have my shitty moments.  But I don't feel the need to go out and get drugs in response to them.  I'm depressed as hell most of the week I would say, but it doesn't compare to when I was an Opiate addict.  The Suboxone is a fucking Godsend.  It saved my life.  Anyone that is in the same situation as I was, go find a Dr. that has a Suboxone license and get help.  Thank God to whoever came up with that.  Fuck doing Methadone treatment.  I want to be drug free, not on Methadone for the rest of my life.  Sorry I kind of rambled on there.  To keep it on topic and I already said it, I don't drink at all anymore.  And I am fucking proud as hell of it,  FUCKING GOD DAMN MOTHER FUCKING PROUD AS FUCK TO BE WHERE I AM TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's peaceful. When you grow up around alcoholics you appreciate sobriety.
