Here Today... Gone To Hell!

I was just checking out Richard Fortus website, and i noticed that GNR dates were removed..

I tought it was very strange, since they were up up until last week..

He must have just been kicked out.  heh

They've been gone for a while. I posted it on mygnr last week and no one seemed to care.

Richard was a cool guy, hope he is still in the band... but I'd take Izzy back to play rhythym any day. :peace:

it doesnt matter anymore whos in or out AXL is GNR. tickets sold out in just 3 min nobody knew for sure whos gonna be in the band. that shows people dont really care that much about the rest of the band they just wanna see AXL.

Still sad, though - unless he confirms the same thing every 10 minutes, we're still going to read that he's out of the band, replaced by Izzy, Lenny, Kevin Bacon, whoever, etc.  I *can't wait* for the 12th so the madness can end.  Or at least calm down for a few days.

No need to worry, Richard is still there and the tour will happen. Nobody is fired/or left, and nothing is cancelled 

Yeah, I was told a couple weeks ago he was rehearsing.. but I have no clue if anything has happened since then. I hope he is there and am pretty sure he will be.... :peace:

Would they be rehearsing in NY now? Axl has been back in NY in this last week or so right?

It will be worse the night of the 12th. I expect there will be alot of jokers posting alot of false "My friend is at the show and just told me that............" threads.

Axl, as has always been the case (since UYI times, at least) doesn't reherse with the band. ?He's not much for soundchecks, either.

I had said earlier this week...I would expect to see some sightings of the rest of the band members in NYC as soon as this weekend, but probably by the middle of next week.

Yeah I'm really glad Fortus is in the band. Didn't get to seem the in '02 so will be cool to see them now.

Same here.  I'm very grateful for those who will check in with the boards during and immeiately afterwards, but me, I'm there to enjoy the show.  I'll share any intersting bits I might have when I'm back in PA in front of my computer, but I'm fairly certain it will already be pretty well covered by then...

One problem with this post. According to santuary's own site, Merck isn't the CEO - Andy Taylor is. Merck isn't even mentioned ont their site. Something tells me this post was BS.  This story tells all about Sanctuary and their board members. No Merck. Interesting - that article was from 12/04. Go and read the 2005 Annual Report which is on their site and came out in February 2006. Merck is listed as: Head of Creative Strategy, not CEO.  He also resigned from the Board. In some other releases between 2/06 and 12/04 he is mentioned as CEO.  Who knows...

Guess today's events changes this!!

Maybe they're just updating the site. New shows have just been added in Switzerland and Germany....
