Title: don't know him - Mentions Axl, Izzy, Slash and Dizzy & his band Post by: shaun on May 02, 2006, 04:36:17 PM http://www.sleazegrinder.com/flashmetalwild.htm
Anyway, I don?t think Dizzy particularly cares about any of this. Despite the fact that the nu-Guns have been stalled at the gates of destiny for upwards of 8 years now, Dizzy ?officially? remains the last man standing from the ?old? ( but not original) Guns N? Roses line-up. He?s also kept himself quite bizzy doin? his synth-plink routine on lotsa ex-Gunners recs (Gilby Clarke, Slash, Duff), as well as Motorhead (?Hammered?), and sometimes he even gets the Dizzy Reed Band crankin?. Most recently, he?s been touring with a band called Fastmaster that consists of dudes from LA scenesters Beautiful Creatures, playin? GNR covers. He is also, presumably, waiting for the phone to ring. Personally, were I Dizzy, I?d just pick up where I left off with the Wild and get Axl?s pseudo-Guns to open up for ME, but then, I live on an entirely different planet from everybody else. It?s called Planet Motherfucker, and we?re all still into the Super Bad Metal Groove here. You should visit sometime. Bring bullets. The Wild: (http://www.sleazegrinder.com/images/teensleaze/wildpic2.jpg) GnR should have got The Wild to open for them in NY :hihi: "...the last band in the world that needed a fucking keyboard player was Guns N? Roses, and along with the goddamn horn section and the back-up singers and ?Get in the Ring? and the dolphin videos, Dizzy?s entrance was a portent of the devastating mother-of-all Flash Metal Suicides to come." :hihi: "And although I am sure Dizzy is happy with his decision, ?cuz lord knows, if you can squeeze a house and a motorcycle and a sportscar out of a maniac like Axl, than I suppose you really oughta, but I still think that if the Wild had a chance to deliver a second, killing blow on the rock world, then they mighta been one of the biggest goddamn bands on the planet." Title: Re: don't know him - Mentions Axl, Izzy, Slash and Dizzy & his band Post by: BLS-Pride on May 02, 2006, 04:39:27 PM "It?s called Planet Motherfucker, and we?re all still into the Super Bad Metal Groove here"
That's what Axl needs to say and believe. Title: Re: don't know him - Mentions Axl, Izzy, Slash and Dizzy & his band Post by: SlashDelonge on May 02, 2006, 04:43:23 PM actually he doesnt need to say that.

Yeah, that sounds like some crap Homer Simpson would say when reminiscing about his 'glory days'. Personally I'd like to see this moved. It barely resembles GnR news, more like this no-name getting free publicity by hopping on the GnR chow-wagon like the guy who claimed to have tried out for guitarist for GnR. Matt Sorum touched on it during Behind the Music with his classic quote "I thought I joined some kick ass Rock n Roll band... What's with the piano??" I was agreeing with that : ok: Title: Re: don't know him - Mentions Axl, Izzy, Slash and Dizzy & his band Post by: shaun on May 02, 2006, 05:17:31 PM I doubt he really has a 'downloaded' copy of CD as he puts it ;) - could be an April thing :hihi:
Friday, March 10, 2006 Clowny Clown Clown Hi. Been a cuppla weeks since I last blogged. I have no explanation for this, I am simply acknowledging the fact. I finally got that CD done for Classic Rock magazine. It'll come with the April issue of the magazine. I suspect, since the compilation is called "Sons of Guns", that April's issue will be mostly about Guns N' Roses. Maybe Chinese Democracy will be out then. It sorta is already, since literally everyone I know has a copy they downloaded somewhere or another. Personally, it sounds pretty dolphin-video to me, but everytime I mention this, people get all defensive, so maybe it's good and I just don't 'get' it anymore. That's entirely possible. I don't 'get' football jerseys and cornows and albums that take seven years to make. Paranoid millionaire rock stars just aren't my people, you know? http://blog.myspace.com/sleazegrinder (http://www.beethovenmc.com/IMAGES/TOPNEWS/special/vma/large/03.jpg) Title: Re: don't know him - Mentions Axl, Izzy, Slash and Dizzy & his band Post by: da_pope on May 02, 2006, 08:49:19 PM He's right though...
