I doubt it'll happen, but it's the only thing that makes logical sense at this point. ?If Brain is taken, Sorum is the only one that could pull off the old set on a last minute note. ?That just means one thing - not a lot of new material will be played.

I stand corrected.  Although, I will say that in that picture on the Top Rockerz site, Brain's skin looks more tanned than it has at some points in the past.  That's what threw me.

Considering they have said they are in rehearsals and that they will be tour with guns this year, and also that management have said that those guys are still in the band i think that would be 100000000000000% proof that a reunion isn't happening.  : ok:

Well, considering I've seen photographic evidence that Brain is, indeed, rehearsing out in California w/ the rest of GNR (at least of of like 2 weeks ago) - I'd tend to say he's playing w/ Guns in NYC.

(The few others who've seen the picture(s) know what I'm referring to.  Its nothing major, anyway - but the photos definitely prove Brain's practicing w/ Guns)

I'm pretty certain that Brain will be manning the kit come May 12th. Sometimes  the rest of the world isn't as "up to date" with GN'R plans as we are... I think that site just has some old information up there....

Axl Rose is involved in legal issues with Duff and Slash, so why would any of them re-group with Axl with legal issues lurking in the shadows?

If it's the pictures I'm thinking of, they didn't show Brain in the pictures, behind the drum kit.  They showed pictures of the GN'R drum kit, similar to what he used in 2002, with the words "a kilo is a thousand grams" taped on the front of the bass drum.  It did look like Brain's kit, though.

well this is getting into an off-topic argument. but you're really arguing about quantity/quality of supporting evidence. much evidence is not totally separate from faith.

Like I said, there's a musician on myspace that says he's filling in for Brain. I hardly think someone would go through the trouble of making a fake account, adding mp3's of his exceptional drumming skills, filling his frends list with other talented musicians and keep the charade going for a long time, just so he can pose as imposter as a temporariy drummer for the TopRockerz or whatever the Hell they're called.

I think everyone should just shut up about this and stop whining about the pictures, respect peoples privacy. Brain is in GnR as of a week and a half ago........ the end, contracts have been signed and they are not going to be easy to get out of!

Do you honestly think Axl is going to throw everything that he has spent the past 14 years building away because he ran into Sorum in a nightclub. He ran into guilby in 2000, they had a long chat, cleared the air....... i dont recal hearing about an invite to rejoin the band. Guns n Roses today is the current lineup + 1 who most of us dont know about yet, in 10 days all will be revealed!

Why is this news??? ?who cares if brain is in the band or not. ? Only person that matters is Axl , who cares about the rest of the band . Finding a drummer is not a hard thing to do at all. ? Maybe Brain is recording some Jingles for the "Apprentice" ?and won't be able to perform with Guns.

It's funny cuz it could mean any one of those things....Reunion..I tend to think the least...but you never know with this band.    Even if they stick a unknown drummer in there or a famous drummer...we still don't know if that person is officially in the band or if they are just filling in or what unless Axl says it at the concert or gives and interview after.

Im not sure if he is Brain's drum tech or not, but him and Tommy are good friends. I believe he played in either bash n pop or Perfect with him. He also played on "VGH".

The only actual worry I've ever had about Brain was related to Buckethead. I wonder ?how he feels about Axl, Dizzy and Tommy slagging on Bucket... hell... ?maybe he agrees with them. Also as someone mentioned above the 2002 kitts had yellow lugs/rims..... but as someone also said they can easily be replaced, but it seems kinda pointless at this stage. Im pretty convinced that these are real rehearsal pics.... oh and the "kilo is worth a thousand grams" if it is indeed a reference to the "ghostface killah" song or whatever they are called...... The CD with that track on only came out in March of this year......... i highly doubt they would have heard about it in 2002!

Loook I want this new band to be successful just as much as everyone else....but I very much doubt that, for me anyway, that they will surpass the band from the 80's & 90's.

NuGnR is the term I use to distinguish the two entities....if you don't like it tough luck, deal with it.....It's not meant to be offensive :peace:

It's the "nu" aspect that's offensive to some of us. nu=nu-Metal = Limp Bizkit, Korn and other various late 90's early 2000's crap bands. Even if you love and respect the original GN'R above all else (and no one can blame anyone for that)- I think it's still bullshit to associate the new line-up with that late 90's nu-metal shite.

I do appreciate the need for differentiating between the two entities however, and do so frequently myself, BUT

Frozen Inferno....Axl is my favorite member of the "Real GnR"....But I'm not blind to see that the "Real GnR" was a group of five guys making kickass music....the Axl fans conveniently over look the fact that Izzy, Slash and Duff had huge contirbutions on the first 4 "Real GnR" albums. I'm sure NuGnR will put out a great album...but NuGnR won't touch the brilliance that was the "Real GnR" fuck the only remaining "ORIGINAL" member in NuGnR, Dizzy, didn't even have any contirbutions to the UYI's.

For your information, Tracii guns wrote alot of those parts (on songs that were on appetite) before slash was even in the band. After Tracii left the band, guns management bought his credits. So if you are going to go down that route then at least know what the hell your talking about.

Listen. There have been different versions of GNR. People have to be able to distinguish between them. "old" GNR and "new" GNR. Its not hard to understand. When alot of people say "real GNR"(and it has been said for years), they are just referring to the old band. Seems like you of all people would understand this.
