Title: Old GN'R
Post by: JDA on April 29, 2006, 02:36:44 AM
I absolutly love the new GN'R but just watched the Hard and Heavy video and wow.   Seriously, is there anything better than the original?  I have been a fan since 87 and can't thnk of anyhing better than them playing one last show togethre.  When I say that I don't include Steven.  I would much rather see Matt than Steven.  Steven sucks!

steven held a better groove than matt, matt was to technical for gnr IMO

Yeah Steven had the groove... Matt's timing is so perfect he's like a drummachine... very boring. Technically better or not that's not wat GN'R was about.

And the new GN'R doesn't even come close to the original line-up.

I think the big difference is Matt's reliable, and Steven's not
Old GNR will never be matched

If steven never was in the band, gnr would have never been, I think izzy once said "...We where just 5 guys with the right chemistry at the right time" Somthing like that, indecating that they 5 togheter made GnR.
