Have you seen the ilk that flocks to MisShapes and Don Hill's? Take a look on the MisShapes website. Do they look like the core GnR fan demograph, let alone like misfits and outcasts of society that would embody the type of person who would revel in Metal, Punk and Hardcore? NO. Axl, in all his wit and wisdom went there, cuz it's trendoid central. He's been hitting the whole West Side/Meat Market area here in the city. OF COURSE he's hyping the mystique. All the little trust-fund, meth-smokin, coke-snortin', polysexual douchebags are going to tell their little friends that Axl was in the house, chillin at the club. MADONNA went to MisShapes when her album was coming out. You think Axl is earnestly going there to just look at 'the pretty people'? Do you really think Axl says to himself where should I go tonight to get my name in the paper? The guy is in NYC. Any celebrity will be noted when going to a club or restaurant. SHould Axl stay holed up in his hotel? He goes clubbin in Vegas but rarely gets noticed because its not really like NY. Is he trying to be seen in Vegas too? Should Axl eat at the corner hot dog stand or a restaurant of his liking? Of course he will be seen and talked about when going to popular places.
