Title: The Stage Configuration
Post by: nesquick on April 25, 2006, 06:04:05 PM
I was watching some videos on Youtube and I found a great Live Video from a Depeche Mode 2006 concert (the song is "I feel you"). The stage is really modern, full of lights, plasma screens and electronic, it's really beautifull...? and modern. :)

I think it would be cool if the band uses the same kind of stage configuration, with lots of technology and electronics on the stage. It really adds something to the show.

I think it would be amazing if the band use some some stage configuration like U2 ( BIG plasma screens in the back ) imagine AXl run side by side and the big Plasma in the back . ?: ok:

The stage configuration is going to be a '87 Chevy Nova in the center with a 15" flat screen Dell Monitor on each side of it. With a flag drapping the background saying... "Who Cares What the Stage Cofiguration Looks Like '06"

I thought the camera thing they had going to 2002 was really cool. If you don't know what i'm talking about, think of the matrix where there are like 50 cameras in a semi circle and you see each of them for a microsecondm so it looks like one camera is moving around the player in like half a second... really cool

We more than likely won't see it at NYC, but the Euro dates will probably have something brand new, just seems to be the way Axl does things.

I doubt that.

The four shows in NYC won't have a special setup because of the venue size, and all the festivals in Europe will be configured for multiple bands, not just Guns N' Roses.

I doubt the band's going to take staging for the remaining 12?European dates that aren't festivals.

Expect to see a GNR-catered stage at an upcoming North American tour, but probably not for the dates already announced.

I didn't mean a special stage in new york, i just meant a stripped down stage, some lights and a screen maybe.
