for quite a while, but more importantly when was the VR tattoo done!? Guess we know what band slash is dedicated to. 

Good to see the guy again...its been a little while.  Things tend to get surreal when we get Axl pics every other day and theres speculation when Slash will come out of seclusion.


He always looks a little older when he has facial hair because its slightly gray, but he looks much younger clean-shaven.

Slash has had that VR tattoo for probably a year and a half or so.

yea i was glad to see that tattoo, with all the rumors of him leaving vr and everything, it made me feel good to see it.  of course that doesnt mean that he cant leave lol but hes obviously dedicated and loyal enough to get a tattoo! i love slash!  :love:

Yeah theyre french, I smoke em whenever Im over there. If you get the regular size(real small) they taste like cigars but get king size(normal size ciggy) they taste like a bad marlboro red.

Ya know people get tattoos of their mates names and shit all the time. Surely doesn't mean that he's in it for the long haul, perhaps just a chapter of his life. Slash said that as far as he knows he's still in VR, but does that mean he's not in GNR? Hmmm... Something is definitly fishy. I personally believe what Metal Sludge has said. Love it or hate it I have a feeling Slash is sleeping in the GNR bed once again in some capacity.  :beer:

I for one do not in any way believe that Slash is going back to GnR. He was just photographed a few nights ago with some of his VR bandmates at that grand opening of some club in Vegas. There's been some pretty heavy denial lately that he's back in GnR. Personally that's good enough for me to believe he's not back in. As for Slash saying that as far as he knows he's still in VR, that sounds like pure sarcasm to me. I think he is still in VR and knows it and is laughing at the rumors that are going around about him being out.

The main reason Slash will not be in GnR is simple he's not going to share solos. That's what started a rift between him and Axl when Axl brought in his old pal Paul "Yoko Ono" Tobias to play over Slash's guitar parts on Sympathy for the Devil (and like Robert John said shouldn't Slash of been the one who chose the guitarist at least).
Anyway the point is Slash is going to want to play all this solos he wrote and Robin is going to want to play the ones he has written, and I just can't see that happening.

hair dye. he just not all that concerned with his appearance at the moment..being that VR is not in the spotlight playing shows and doing interviews etc

I've never noticed that VR tattoo before now. But I think it looks cool. :)

I've read somewhere that Slash do dye his hair, because of shades of grey in it, he is 41 years old soon, and cant stay young forever. Some of my friends are below 30, and still have some grey/white hairs popping up..   : ok:
