Post by: dzosua on April 22, 2006, 08:49:03 AM IMO, the character of Axl's voice needs a lot of smokin' and not just that - a lot of drugs and alcohol - the combined shit he did during the early and USI days... There is no more lenght and strenght in his voice (justi listen to the WTTJ in 2002 tour - awful), which probably comes with the nature of his habits. And since he is not the mean-dream machine any more, his voice suffers... Let's face it: his voice isnt' that strong anymore, the reason is probably in his habits, that far from those which made him famous in the early 90's (just read the Rolling stone interview on HTGTH).
