I don't know any of the administrators "behind" this site...but I want to thank you for the help on the pre-sale. I know whoever runs this site puts in much work, and puts up with alot of BS. I recieved my password today via email...I again want to say thank you for all the work put into trying to help GNR's best fans have a chance to get pre-sale tickets. Hopefully, all will go as planned on Thursday, but no matter either way...thanks for the effort.

I must admit considering past actions by the band, i never in a million years thought UNOFFICIAL forum members would be taken care of, and for such a hot ticket. Thank you to the mods, and management, the band, and whoever may have had a hand in making this a reality. Now let's hope we can all snag tix.

I've had my ups and downs over the past 7 years on this forum which I am sure will continue.....   but right now is the most proud moment I have ever shared with all of you.  This is the most important time in Guns N Roses history since 1991.  Enjoy every moment.

Yes, this board is grand. mygnr is okay but it's not like it is here.

I would personally like to thank both of these fine gentlemen for helping us fans get tickets. They didn't have to but they did.

I got my two tickets today at 9:02am. I probably could have got the 1st area seated, but I had two windows open and it did not like that. But got the second balcony seated for the last show.

So again I would like to thank Mysteron, Guns Management and Jarmo for this wonderful gift.

The whole point of this thread is for us individuals who got tickets to show our appreciation to these guys!

I just wanted to start a thread to give thanks to Jarmo, Mysteron, and Mr. Intensity for all the behind the scenes work they did to help make sure gnr fans got access to tickets... and mr I for helping smooth the way with info and the preshow party.

I just made sure to cover every avenue as far as ticket limit, passwords, and encouraging all the gunners here to sell their extras at face value. I also spammed the shit out of scalper boards last night with fake passwords.

It's not over yet though, there is still people without tickets, so try getting them tommorow and if you get extra there is more people here who need tickets.

Overall, the plan worked out to be a success!!!

Although it seems some loyal gunners didn't get their tickets, overall this seems like a great success, and a very nice way to acknowledge the fans, even though we officially have no ties with the band. Hopefull the rest will get tickets from those who have extras, and we will be in NYC in less than a month. Thanks to anyone and everyone who helped out.

I think this worked out the best that we could possibly have expected given how difficult it is to keep these passwords a secret.  I'm echoing the above statements... great work guys and you guys are never paying for a beer while you're in my presence.

I'd like to also throw my thanks to some people who you probably had no clue were helping, but they were.

People like AxlGunner, C0ma, BurningHills,Fieldsy, & Madison - all of who helped us flag Craigslist posts that had the password as 'prohibited' and resulted in getting the posts removed from Craigslist almost immediately.  My 14 year old nephew helped too - but like, he'll never read this - but oh well, he's still cool.

Bittersweet elation?  I wasn't able to get the 3 tickets I needed, but I did get 1.  I figured by asking for so many it would lessen my chances, and since the 1st few attempts gave me a "none available" result, I lowered my expectations to 1 and nailed a 2nd mezz. seat!

I'll do my best to find 2 more tix for May 15th's show tomorrow.  I imagine if I could try for tix from one of the 2 new shows, I could trade with someone for the 15th tix.  This is awesome!

Mysteron, Jarmo, Illusionone, Mr. Intensity, Darknemus and all who helped make this as covert an operation as possible to get the truest Guns fans into the show, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  I'll never forget this.  What a crazy few days!!!

i won`t attend any of these NYC concerts, but i think it`s great to have people like these in our community. i feel the ball actually starts (or started) rolling now!! 

2006 is the year of gnr : ok:

axl`s out and about, various leaks have proven axl`s undeniable talent, a tour is announced and everything else seems to be going in the right direction as well. even some people who called merck an idiot are going to shut up in the near future or did allready....

i`ll see gnr this year at rock am ring and in the netherlands and if things are going well, i`ll hold CD in my hands this year, too.  it was never "better" to be a gnr fan than now. the pay off for all these years is nearing :peace:

Even though I have not gotten tickets as of yet I would really like to thank all the parties involved for all the hard work.

I'd also like to express my thanks for everyone who worked hard to give the true fans an attempt to get tickets. I was shaking this morning before and after I got my tickets. I'm more excited now than I was 3 1/2 years ago in Philly. It sucks that some people didn't get any, but with the two new shows and the regular on sale tomorrow there is still a good chance. Anyway, I just wanted to say "thanks" and I look forward to seeing the place full of forum members on the 15th!

A great big thanks to all involved. ?This may be the best fan forum on the web. ?What impressed me most was that no matter how much members may have ripped each other to shreds in the past, everyone completely came together when it really mattered. ?

To everyone who is responsible for doing this you really do deserve a lot of credit it's not always been the easiest being a GNR fan but management certainly seem to be making up for that with this. It is a really cool thing to do? :peace: Just wish I was going to see GNR this summer? :(

One more thing - because of their efforts, basically every member is guaranteed to be able to get tickets at face value for at least one of the shows.  Absolutely amazing.
