Title: Break Up Songs
Post by: Madcap on April 20, 2006, 08:45:43 AM
easy enough, just write down the song/artist you listen to the most after a break up. i'll start things off.

System of a Down-Atwa, really helped me get through a tough one!
NIN-Hurt, don't understand why but it helps
and and of course anything by my favourite band the Pink Floyd

Guns - "You Ain't The First"  :hihi:
from NIN I might remeber "Somewhat Damaged" as being quite appropriate...

I do listen to a lot of Pink Floyd...and I guess even after a break-up...but I cannot connect their music with a break-up, I care too much about it

Deep Purple-"Mistreated"...

I can't believe no-one has mentioned Estranged yet, it's only THE best song to listen to after someone you love has f**ked you over...

I think Estranged is more about time to yourself and make amends, but not as a break up song, yet anyone can have their own conclusions, as for me is to continue life an accept the fact that person is no longer with you.

Get my point?

My favorite would be the Type O Negative tune "Unsuccessfully Coping With The Natural Beauty of Infidelity".

Otherwise known as "I know You're Fucking Someone Else".

Yes and the whole sentence go "Guess I'll have to make it thru, this time without you"
That's defenitely a moving on issue, the summary of the song is that we always have to see ahead, but yet again I say one more time, we all think different.

Anyway, Helloween - Forever and one
