However, I did notice something else interesting which may or may not have anything to do with Guns N Roses. next to the tour signs in 3 locations were these other signs... they were just black glossy paper with "06 - 06 - 06" and the text "The Signs are All Around You" underneath in white text. I'm not really up to speed on any other albums, tours, games, or movies... but could said signs be referring to Chinese Democracy? It had nothing that would lead me to believe it does, but it also had nothing on it to prove that thought wrong.

I've seen a movie preview about 06-06-06. I believe the signs are about this movie.

Like I said, it was on MySpace last night, so it's not just a NY thing. ?When I first saw it, my guess was it was an ad for a new movie or something.

Someone else asked the same question, looks like it is indeed for The Omen remake. Prolly the tagline for the new film. The official site just says "His day will come."

The only problem with The Omen remake is that there's already been 2 sequels and a shitty TV movie.  And Damien was killed in the last installment.  I'll cry if there is a remake of The Omen.  A message to screenwriters everywhere: WRITE AN ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY DUMBASSES!

Well if it's a remake, it doesn't really matter if he was killed. But I do agree with you. The number of original hollywood screenplays seems to drop 3-5% annually. Then they cry about shrinking attendance (while jacking up ticket price to pad their profit margins).

I wonder if the 666 thingy in fact has something to do with the real Christian religion or it's just originated from the movie.

The date 6-6-06 is freakin awesome. It's great both visually and psychologically. Although I do feel that if the world is going to end it will be on 6-6-06...  :nervous:
