1)If you have obtained a password to the 9am sale do not give it out.
2)When you purchase tickets please do not purchase more than the limit of 4 for each show.
3)If you buy 4 tickets for each show during any of the pre-sales, do not then try to buy 4 tickets for each show again during the regular sale.
4)If you can afford it and only were planning to buy 2 tickets, you may want to buy 4 tickets and sell the extra 2 tickets to people who will need them on this board. Illusionone and I will be willing to help all extra tickets land in the hand of board members at face value. If you feel you must have money right away for them, I can buy them off of you.
5)If you get extra tickets go to Illusionone's thread and request you be added as a "ticket seller" or pm him with that request.


If you follow these rules there is a great chance you'll get a ticket, if you don't you might lose out.

Please do not take offense if I don't respond to pm's, my mailbox has been flooded.? I will do the best I can tommorow to help everyone on this board get tickets. I hope you'll play your part and do the same.? :peace:

Yes, however the ticket limit is 4 for each show.

I used to say "ping" when I agree with a post instead of using "I agree".. but it was against rules as it was just a one word  post and I almost got banned.

I'd love to but the change eg from pounds to dollars then from dollars to pounds, would make things difficult.

I know what you're trying to do, but first you list a lot of rules and then you say you'll give out the password to people...

I would hope that if I wasn't able to secure tickets durring the 9:00am presale someone would share the 11:00am password with me. I think what Mr. Intensity is trying to do here is very legit. I mean I hope everyone posts here by 9:30 am that they got tickets and I don't even need to be online at 10:40 am for the 2nd presale.

That would be the best situation, the only intention behind giving out the 11am pass is to help the gunners who had no luck during the 9am presale. :peace:

Just thought I'd let you know to sign into ticketmaster tonight and creat an account with all your billing information. It will speed up the checkout process tommorow for you to get tickets. So you can get right back in and buy tickets for the 2nd day as well when you are done purchasing for the 15th show.

Guys, I also have a new idea....

If any of you know the site that has been posting the password, tommorow morning around 8:30 am we should claim the password has been changed and post various fake passwords on these sites as to throw the ticket brokers off.

Here's my question:

Instead of a pre-sale password, why not have a pre-sale pop quiz.  Perhaps it's logistically impossible, but if you really wanted a concert for devoted fans, make them answer a multiple choice question like, what was GNR's first single:

a) Welcome to the Jungle
b) It's So Easy
c) Paradise City
d) Sweet Child O' Mine

Or something like that...  If it were possible, it would cut down on casual fans and brokers from getting as many tickets as they do...  Also, could somebody please explain to me what the difference between a broker and a scalper?  I'm have a hard time seeing one.

I guess by definition they are the same thing....but I would break it down by saying a scalper is a guy that buys a few pairs and sells them on ebay, message boards, in front of the venue...etc.

A brokerage is more like one of the multi-million dollar businesses like "ticketsnow.com" who will have people working, and even computer programs working as fast as possible to buy up as many sets of tickets possible. They will then re-sell them for usually about 5x the amount of the initial purchase.

I have gotten lots of AMAZING seats off of ebay for under face value closer to a show, only time I ever contacted brokerages or scalpers was for the VR club tour date in Toronto. I ended up paying about $90 per ticket, which isn't bad....unless you consider that retail was like $25.

try to write down sincere posts and say that you dont think it's fair that people are getting tickets and other not

and post fake pre sale passwords.

It seems ticketmaster let both the 9am presale password and 11am presale password work at the same time at 9am.
In which 75% of the venues tickets sold out. I imagine that no one got tickets at 11am, am I right??

Yup, and the FIRST presale password worked for the 11am presale as well...someone dropped the ball.  Not sure if each password had a # of tickets allotted to it, but it looks like nobody got tix for 11am.  Tomorrow is the last shot right?

I just need two tickets to either one. This is such a ?letdown. It's hard to be positive for tomorrow's general sale when I've just been shutout for tickets for the first time ever and it happened twice in 2 hours.

I tried getting 4 for monday, just 2 for me......my partner in crime didn't understand the plan and just got 2 for wed...then when i told her to get 4, she went through the process AGAIN and got only 2 more (instead of getting 4). sigh.  I think she is secretly a blonde.

but i do feel bad i wasn't able to personally get 4 and help out those who didn't get...especially those who were so helpful in tracking down passwords.

Good lord, mine did the almost same thing........I wanted 2 Monday and 2 wed...the sweet gal got 4 tix allright, but they were for Monday!  I was debating getting mad about the whole thing, but hey it will all work out  :peace:

Getting two was smart, if she tried for FOUR she could have gotten shut out. I screwed up and picked the wrong thing at first and got a no tix ava messenge then did it again for floor with two tix and got them while KV asked for 4 and it said there was none left. He then tried for one and got one. I think it you choose 1 or 2 you had a much better chance at getting them then if you choose 4

I was right there at 9am trying for 1 ticket at the beginning and was shut out.  I am still perplexed as to how that could have happened.

Did you try more than once and what option did you pick?

I tried multiple times and went for the best available seat each time.  After maybe 10 minutes I gave up since I was running extremely late for a class I couldn't afford to miss.
