Title: It's So Easy Post by: The Dog on April 19, 2006, 04:55:08 PM not to get presale emails ;) but the song........
Is it just me, or when you listen to the studio track, do you find yourself saying "GET THAT GUY OUTTA HERE". That whole bit has almost become part of the song for me. I fucking love it. Just makes it so "rock n' roll" for lack of a better word. Thoughts? Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: Vicious Wishes on April 19, 2006, 05:51:40 PM I don't hear "get that guy outta here" on ISO, but I always hear "BEAT IT!" on Paradise City. : ok:

Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: Skeba on May 10, 2006, 03:09:17 AM For me it's usually the "you dig... what the fuck I'm saying..? Homefuck..." in DTJ
As for the It's So Easy thing.. No. Not really no. Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: kaasupoltin on May 10, 2006, 03:38:26 AM For me it's usually the "you dig... what the fuck I'm saying..? Homefuck..." in DTJ As for the It's So Easy thing.. No. Not really no. That's true.. DTJ is so much better live, just because of that part :hihi: (+ Matt's drumming).. I also hear "BEAT IT!" on PC and that "with your ass in the air" on YCBM.. I've listened too much '93 bootlegs. Live versions  Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: mikegiuliana on May 10, 2006, 03:52:24 AM not to get presale emails ;)? ?but the song........ Just makes it so "rock n' roll" for lack of a better word. Thoughts? Everytime I hear it I almost expect it :hihi: Doesn't make it any more rock and roll but almost impossible to listen to it the way I use to pre new gnr.. Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: Tomorrows on May 10, 2006, 04:11:11 AM I always hear "with your ass in the air" in YCBM ;D Definately expect that everytime. I dont like the whole "GET THAT GUY OUTTA HERE" - as much as I like Axl I thought it was low of him. I prefer to just forget it. Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: Dont Try Me on May 10, 2006, 04:15:15 AM I always hear "with your ass in the air" in YCBM ;D Definately expect that everytime. The 'fan' could've expected to be thrown out :) Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: Where is Hassan Nasrallah ? on May 10, 2006, 04:20:59 AM I don't hear "get that guy outta here" on ISO, but I always hear "BEAT IT!" on Paradise City. : ok: right on ! didnt he say "shove it" at the freddy mercury tribute ? the "get that guy outta here" has passed. does not do it for me anymore. "Cause worryin's a waste of my "FUCKIN'" time" Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: Mandy. on May 10, 2006, 05:22:59 AM For me it's usually the "you dig... what the fuck I'm saying..? That one is classic! Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: zombux on May 10, 2006, 05:24:45 AM sometimes when I occasionally listen to Appetite For Destruction, I kinda try to hear Buckethead's solos instead of Slash's ones, and I can't hear them, funny ;D
Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: TOPGUNner on May 10, 2006, 05:37:58 AM I always hear "with your ass in the air" in YCBM ;D SAME HERE!!! ;D I can't sing You Could Be Mine without adding that line. In Mr. Brownstone, I add "worrying's a waste of my FUCKING time" How about Rocket Queen? Anyone add in "SMILE" after the first chorus? hahaha Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: estebanf on May 10, 2006, 05:40:50 AM The Blues - "Ok, nevermind". You're absolutly right!! I find myself screaming ''ok, nevermind'' in all versions of The Blues. This is one of the most hilarious threads in a long time. oh, and btw, Axl should kick a fan and say ''get that guy outta here'' in all concerts from now on... it rocks, it makes the song even more agressive ? Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: jaknudsen on May 10, 2006, 06:26:52 AM "you wanna play games like that, we'll go home, it's not a problem" and the following halt during SCOM in copenhagen '91 is classic, as is
"hey! don't tell me what to do!" duing WTTJ at Indianapolis '91 (not sure this is correct): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7SHjsK5Elc Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: A Private Eye on May 10, 2006, 06:39:26 AM I always here a cough and 'bullshit' after that bit in patience where he sings 'cos I'd rather be alone'
Also always here "beat it' when I listen to PC now. Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: Evolution on May 10, 2006, 06:41:02 AM sometimes when I occasionally listen to Appetite For Destruction, I kinda try to hear Buckethead's solos instead of Slash's ones, and I can't hear them, funny ;D I get that with Nightrain, I expect Bucket's little add-ons sometimes. Plus when the It's So Easy solo kicks in I sometimes hear in my head "hand me that shirt." Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: jaknudsen on May 10, 2006, 06:44:06 AM I usually hear "ladies and gentlemen, mr. dizzy reed" in Estranged.
Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: cyalex on May 10, 2006, 06:58:32 AM I always expect in Mr Brownstone after "He's been knockin" Motherfucker, Motherfucker :peace:
The YCBM and DTJ lines are classic 8) Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: Dont Try Me on May 10, 2006, 07:04:41 AM I usually hear "ladies and gentlemen, mr. dizzy reed" in Estranged. yes, I hear that too. and....maybe the most important one at the end of PC: "(insert place venue).......Good........ Fucking............. Night!!! Then I can see Axl throwing his mike away....and walking of the stage like he owns the place. awesome! Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: MR W,AXL ROSE on May 10, 2006, 07:16:28 AM my fav has to be in patience when axl sings "coz the lights are shining bright".coz in the live version he sings it in a different way and if im ever singing along to it,ill sing it the way axl did live.
and the end of so fine "coz shes smart, thats why" "huh, yeah, thats right" "ok nevermind" in the blues Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: jaknudsen on May 10, 2006, 07:29:34 AM I always expect in Mr Brownstone after "He's been knockin" Motherfucker, Motherfucker :peace: Motherfucker motherfucker wanna leave my ass alone, awesome? Quote from: cyalex ....and walking of the stage like he owns the place. That one's hard to shake for me. Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: A Private Eye on May 10, 2006, 09:01:39 AM I also always hear Axl scream 'Take it' when the big Nightrain solo begins
The 'Ladies and gents Mr Dizzy Reed' is one I always hear too. Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: Tomorrows on May 10, 2006, 09:54:33 AM I always hear "with your ass in the air" in YCBM ;D Definately expect that everytime. Then you might categorize the one who waved the 'where's slash' t-shirt as a 'low' thing to do as well? It works both ways you know. The 'fan' could've expected to be thrown out :) Hey, I love Axl too but Im making a point that for someone with as much history and controversy behind him as Axl - hes never going to be on a clean slate with the public. Stuff like that will happen to him a lot, especially as he comes in the public eye more. He dealt with it OK in 02 but what about when he is doing more shows and publicity? Is he going to walk off stage like he used to 14 years ago? Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: The Dog on May 10, 2006, 09:58:01 AM You Could Be Mine:
Hasta La Vista.......Baby. EVERYTIME the song is on hahaha. Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: Back Off Bitch on May 10, 2006, 10:01:41 AM Yeah, I get it all the time! Same with Rocket Queen "Take that, take.......... I'll take it goddamnit"
At RIR3 Axl says on the Blues "Okay, nevermind", I always think of that everytime of listen to any The Blues... Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: CAFC Nick on May 10, 2006, 10:21:47 AM I always hear "with your ass in the air" in YCBM ;D SAME HERE!!!? ;D I can't sing You Could Be Mine without adding that line. Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: SINSHINE on May 10, 2006, 11:06:25 AM You Could Be Mine: Hasta La Vista.......Baby. EVERYTIME the song is on hahaha. LOL...me too! In fact, I once did YCBM at a karaoke bar and added that line at that spot in the song. Although I don't think anyone knew what the hell I was singing...er trying to sing :hihi: Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: awolgnr on May 10, 2006, 11:41:18 AM I always hear
Brownstone "worrys a waste of my fuckin time" (never did understand why he doesn't say that in the first version. He says motherfucker later in the song so its not like they were going to use it as a radio single) YCBM "on the bed with your ass in the air" and KOHD "gimme some reggae!" which makes me almost always skip that song. The bloated live versions killed my enjoyment of that song. here's one nobody has mentioned (I think) "Think About You" the video/dvd from Rock in Rio 2001 Axl sings "deep inside I love you best" and as he does it, he puts his arm around Paul and looks at his face. Now I don't think he meant gay love, but more like "hey Paul, you know how everyone hates you and blames you for Slash leaving? Well, I wouldn't be here without your support so here's to you" maybe I'm reading too much into this, but if you have it, go back and watch it... you WILL notice exactly what I'm talking about. Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: deanaxlrose on May 10, 2006, 12:26:08 PM I always here a cough and 'bullshit' after that bit in patience where he sings 'cos I'd rather be alone' when i sing patience i always added that line (cough and "bullshit").and when I hear Axl scream 'Take it' in nightrain live.He sound like Mickey mouse. :rofl:Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: Kujo on May 10, 2006, 12:35:42 PM Estranged:

I sit here on the stairs 'cos I'd rather be alone *cough* Bullshit. Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: MJRoses23 on May 10, 2006, 01:19:54 PM definitely The Blues "ok nevermind" i cannot shake that for the life of me. And PC beat it is classic to.
Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: HoldenCaulfield on May 10, 2006, 04:57:21 PM So many of the live nuances that have been added in recent years to the old material very much carries over for me. Whether it's the "beat it!" in 'Paradise City', 'your ass in the air' in 'You Could Be Mine', "waste of my fuckin' time" on 'Mr. Brownstone', or my favorite, during one of the Asian shows, on the intro to 'The Blues', two fans yell out "Slash!" and Axl says "Fuck You!", but he says it in melody with the song :hihi:
Title: Re: It's So Easy Post by: Gaymo, the Hobbit on May 10, 2006, 05:03:51 PM Estranged: "Maybe I'll get it right next time...."
