Title: New York Pre-show get together?? Post by: Crashdiet on April 16, 2006, 06:50:02 PM Well i've booked my flight, and hostel. I will pay the ebay prices if i have to but i'm going to the shows.
Now we should all set up a plan where us gunners can get together and have a few pints, get to know each other, and enjoy the show. I"m not from new york so i don't know where would be good?? but we could set up reservations at a pub for a bunch of tables or something. Title: Re: New York Pre-show get together?? If we seriously have 40-50 people I'll contact a bar in the area and see if we can get some type of section reserved for 30-50 people and have Guns N Roses cd's being played from Noon-6pm. I've been drinking here in Canada for 16 months? and now I'm fucked What I was thinking is contacting the smallest bar in that area, one in which a bar owner might essentially rent the place out to us from noon-6pm. I mean if we promised him $500-$1000 in alcohal sales it would be worth it to him to let us have the place and just jam gnr all day. I'd even be up for using my credit card to secure at least a $500 bill. Meaning if our total combined bar tab was only $420.00, he'd then have my c.c on hold and run it for $80.00... I'm sure we could find some bar that would help us out. It's not about being in the most upscale bar, it's just about partying together and celebrating the bands return to the stage.
