jesus christ, I dont understand why everyone hates on the 'rapper' style.  I think he would look AWFUL if he wore the clothes he did when he was 25.  I personally dont mind it because I love wearing jerseys and baggy clothing in general.  I have my nice clothes for going out and my lounging around the house clothes/working out clothes (jerseys, etc.).

Not the clothes he wore 10, 15 years ago, but the Rock in Rio 3 and Vegas '01 style was great!

I think he looks like shit in those photos personally. He looked like a has-been rocker that hadn't changed much, you know... kinda like dizzy.

Some of you people really should consider cutting your mullets and shedding the leather jackets, take out your dangly cross earing, and unroll your stone washed jeans.

He can keep the braids & beard for all I care. For fucks sake if you dress the same today as you did when afd was released you'd have problems. Saying he should dress the same is just plain stupid. Now he looks like he's in better shape, happy, out and about... get over it. I'm sure a lot of the same people who bitch about him being to 'hip hop' will bitch about Chinese Democracy being too experimental. It's good to try new things.

I like the braids and the goatee. And I also like the jerseys too, but I like those jackets with the jeans he wore at the Vegas shows!!! And for the mullets comment, I'm 18 years old so I've never even had a mullet.

one guitarist was a guy with a hockey mask, kfc bucket on his head, who conducts his interviewers through a hand-puppet while the other was a transvestite robot.

is that proof enough for you?

It's called showmanship. Great artists tend to be eccentric. However they choose to dress or whatever doesn't bother me. What bothered me last tour was them sucking at half of the shows. This isn't a boy band dude.

I really don't care about the beard at all.? it's the wigger look I hate. When I attended the MSG show in 2002? I really liked the show but it was hard at times looking at Axl lookin like 50 cent.? Oversized jerseys , cornrows that make him look like the predator is not a good thing.? I know that all that matters is the music but bad looks could be very annoying when attending a concert.? I don't go to concerts? to close my eyes, I go to concerts to be entertained ,showmanship is part of the entertainment .? Too bad this band has no stage presence whatsoever besides Axl ( which isn't what it used to be ).? He can't move with all that crap he's wearing.? Rock in Rio is the best performance Axl has had since his return in 2001.? He looked and acted like a rock star.? I wonder what happened to him.? I hope he finds his rock n' roll roots and stops dressing like eminem.

Wow, I thought I was the only one who thought so.

Let's just hope things change in the next Rock in Rio.

Let's hope they change before then, at the NY shows.

Axl's 2001 look wqas definetly the best.  He can keep the beard/goatee thing, but I'm not a fan fo the braids...

axl looks completely different from before. Yeah, like Mark McGwire. But one  would never know it was him if you compared 1991 and 2006 picts. Strange, very strange.

Oh, really? Let's compare your 1991 and 2006 pics to see if there's anything strange.

Let's be honest here people. Axl's current look is dated, uninspired, and void of any personality. It's on par with what a high school kid wears to his Friday night poker game. No one's saying he should dress the same way he did 15 years ago (which at least displayed some originality and character), but if you're going out in front of tens of thousands of people, can you at least lose the fucking trackpants and jersey that you probably slept in the night before?

Axl looked cool at the Sopranos premiere, and at the nightclub in the red shirt and leather jacket.  I would rather see him wearing jerseys and track pants than mesh shirts and bike shorts  :hihi:

Please stop that.
