Title: Howard Stern replay from 02/16/06. Post by: Prucc on April 13, 2006, 12:05:20 PM I was listening to the Howard Stern replay on Sirius today from the show broadcasted on 02/16/06 and the I.R.S. leak was replayed too. I suppose they never received any letters. Had they received a letter to not play the song; they would have to edit the content in order to not have I.R.S. play again. Correct?

...and dude. Isn't Stern the funniest fucking thing now? How funny has the show been. Like consistantly. I am laughing my ass on the way to work. Title: Re: Howard Stern replay from 02/16/06. Stern was the first radio station to air the leak, if I'm not mistaken. Title: Re: Howard Stern replay from 02/16/06. Post by: Prucc on April 13, 2006, 12:30:19 PM Dude, I agree. WAAF was also the first to play TWAT. As for sirus still playing IRS, I think they can play anything on sattilite and not get in trouble, but i could be wrong Title: Re: Howard Stern replay from 02/16/06. Post by: faldor on April 13, 2006, 09:47:27 PM Yeah, I heard that today too. I missed it the first time around but had heard he played a clip. Surprisingly too he didn't have any harsh comments. I expected him to say something negative about the song. He actually said "it sounds like it could be good". Not exactly a glowing compliment but I'll take it. He did ask how Axl could go from so cool to such a douche? Robin answered, drugs. They also commented on how it sounded like they were trying to sort of drown out Axl's voice with the music because it's probably not as strong as it once was. Although that could've just been the quality of the leaked track that gave them that perception. It was cool though.
And hell yeah, Stern rules. Greatest investment I've made in some time that Sirius radio. The show kicks ass now. I loved it on terrestrial radio but it's 100 times better now. God bless the Sybian! Music choices are great too on Sirius, for instance I just clicked to Hair Nation 23, and low and behold, GNR "Sweet Child O Mine". Rock on!!! |
