Hey ive been visiting this site since like 99-2000 or somewhere around there and ive never posted just because ive never felt i had anything worth posting, but i did run across something rather interesting today.  I somehow managed to end up over at IllitPress and saw the headline under April 11 say that the dude had a new version of IRS and hell be putting a Razz radio show up to hear it and possibly more...not sure what that meant.  So just go check it out if you want.

Not only that, but the tempo and guitars a decidedly different than what we've heard.

Info about the leak....s....

Yup, there's two now. One's I.R.S., and one is T.W.A.T. I feel safe telling you this, because NEWER versions have been released.

Believe it or not, these files are apparently older than what we've already got.

In my opinion, I.R.S. is worse, and T.W.A.T. is actually better. The vocals on T.W.A.T. are given with so much anger in this version. He legitimately sounds pissed in the tune.

Not only that, but the lyrics are crystal clear. This should help when checking the last few bugs as far as the lyrics that have been posted on the 'net.

Now, I know that's not what you want to hear. You want to who they're from, you want proof, and you WANT THE DAMN TUNES!

Right?

Well tough shit. You're still gonna have to wait. Believe it or not (probably not), there's alot of shit to deal with before everything is said and done. But I promise, you'll have your proof soon enough.

The bottom line is, you begging Razz to post it isn't going to help, I don't think.  If / when he wants to, he will.  In the meantime - think about it logically for a moment.  Razz has this track, at least (or, to be accurate, 10 seconds of it at least) - He obviously got it from someone.  I truly feel by the time we get  these leaks we're about 4-6 levels down the proverbial 'food chain' - which means its only a matter of time - regardless of if Razz chooses to be a kind, generous individual or not.  I hope that he does - but that's not my place to tell him what to do.  Like I said before - lets just keep in mind that, when it comes down to it, we're ALL fans and our motivation shouldn't be greed - but should be sharing the music with our fellow fans.  Thats what's kept the music 'industry' going for far, far longer than any of us have even been alive.  Heck, two cavemen banging rocks together 100,000 years ago meant nothing until a 3rd caveman heard it.  Just saying.

The only showdown you might see between myself and Razz is a fight over who might pay the bartab.  I'd buy the guy a drink - see, I don't let this stuff affect me personally.  I'm not freaking out and spazzing over the possibility of another version of IRS.  What I'm doing is laying out the logic for ALL OF YOU that if Razz has it, then others probably do, too.  That means that whether Razz says "fuck it" and makes a yousendit link or two doesn't really matter in the long run.  The track(s) will get out.  Heck, as this album gets mastered, I bet we see alot more of this. 

Sometimes, I hate to say it (because I know it ain't easy as a Guns fan) - patience is a virtue.  Let these things play out.. I can assure you that any REAL FAN is going to generate the correct end result, in the end.  It just might take them a bit of soul searching and planning to get there.

It doesn't make sense that they would use the same vocal track and some of the same beds and overdub crappy drums like that.
Also, the drums are way too loud for the mix and the different guitar is way to loud.

I have heard the track, and there's just no way to tell. It's too short, and not a good sample. Drums definitely don't sound very good, which may mean they've been added on top, but there aren't enough vocals to tell if this is the version we've already heard, or a different one. We will have to take Razz's word on that.

As a whole, this thread is ridiculous. However, I think there is more truth to this 'incident' than most of 'em these days. It's possible someone made a fake track and sent it to Razz claiming it as the real thing, who knows, but I do believe somebody sent him ... something.

You can definetly tell that the version isn't completly new. ?The sampled drums, Axls voice and several guitar tracks are from the demo we have. ?RaZZ's version has MORE drums (notice that the old drums didn't go away) and MORE guitar. ?The quality of the drums is below anything that Axl would ever be using, and it doesn't make sense for Axl to decide to tack on some extra guitars and drums. ?This is definetly fake....
