It sucked.   Dozzy was never coming because he was reheaseasing with GNR.  Plus, Hookers and Blo toour bus got in an aaicdent right outise of the bar before they were about to start.

Well, the good news is that atleast we know (think we know) he is rehearsing w/ GNR.

Did they actually say that he wasn't there BECAUSE he was rehearsing with GNR?  He said before the tour began that he won't be able to make some shows because of his GNR commitments.  He also said that they'd get special guests to fill in for him.  Who filled in?  Jizzy Pearl?

If he actually is rehearsing, I guess that's a good sign for us GNR fans.

It was a weird night.  Hookers and Blow actually got in a bad accident right in front of the place.  The gutairs and shit were all over the highway.  It was crazy.  Anyway, I spoke with a guy that was connected to the band Hookers and Blow.  He was in the process of setting up some of the sound stuff and he had to go to the hospital to see if everyone was okay.  So, I was like I hope Dizzy is okay.  He started laughing and he said Dizzy is okay because he is in California rehearsing with Axl.  So, the bar falsely avertised that he was going to be there.  So, the opeing act played their set for them.  It was a group of chics named "Jaded".  There web site is www.jadedrockers.com.  The lead singer said she is friends with Dizzy and that they open up for them all the time.  They hang-out when he is on the east coast.  Anyway, I spoke to her about Dizzy.  She said she spoke with him in Hartford at the show there and there is a new gutarist but she could not remeber the name.  I started to name some of the replacements names from this website that people throw around.  She kinda just smiled and siad sorry man I just don't remember the name and started to laugh.

I saw Dizzy at the Webster Theatre in Hartford last week.  He said during the set that he hoped we appreciated him being there because he was missing rehersals to be there  :hihi:  No one answered him at first, so I had to yell "Of course we appreciate it!" ;)

It was also the first time I saw him play Don't Cry (orig lyrics)  He had to take out a lyric sheet for it  :rofl:  I've seen H & B quite a few times and they NEVER play that song.  He did alot of keyboard solo jamming on some of the GNR songs too.  I thought that was pretty interesting.

Damn I wanted to see them so bad!!!!!!!

I don't ever guess about things, I only post about something when I know it to be true... if you noticed I never posted in the gnr rehearsing rumor thread because I had no clue if it was true. The comments from Dizzy and people associated with his band all but verify it though. :peace:

This third guitarist thing is driving me up the fucking wall.... all the secretiveness about it makes me think they've got someone MAJOR.... a household name.:drool:

John 5 would be cool.. He'd fit the band--Finck and John 5--I can picture it now, the two of them on the cover of Guitar World, decked out in full Goth mode, with black lipstick and white faces--"Meet the new guitarists of GN'R."

LOL. I think the GNR fans would destroy everything. They would be furious as hell. Goth things and GNR are highly, I mean HIGHTLY uncompatible. The shows would be a nightmare for the band, They would be insulted all along the show.

or they are looking for there 3 rd, 3rd guitarist as the last one quit already but we never who it was
