Title: Speculation as to why CD may be close to arriving Post by: elliscottcity on March 28, 2006, 05:16:14 AM Pearl's Jam next record comes out on May 2nd.? This past weekend a 6 song demo sampler leaked onto message boards.?
Guns N' Roses demos leaked several weeks ago.? Perhaps the leaking of demos is a new marketing strategy for record companies?? Maybe the companies themselves do not leak the demos but distribute demos discs to token individuals once a cd is ready to be released, knowing that these demos will hit the web sooner or later to build up interest in the album. Better was leaked soon after it was mentioned by axl, a song no one had heard of until axl did the first interview. Pure speculation, but lots of other signs recently point to a release "soon." Title: Re: Speculation as to why CD may be close to arriving Post by: SADIS on March 28, 2006, 05:33:01 AM Yeah, I understand your point. But you kinda already give the answer yourself. Pearl Jam has a release date, GnR don't. So it's impossible to even guess if we are close. Especially considering it's GnR.

Title: Re: Speculation as to why CD may be close to arriving Post by: Big Gun on March 28, 2006, 05:47:02 AM At least we know for sure that Pearl Jam's new record is comming out in may. i think we should all stop caring...i dont think Axl wants to do this anymore-13 years thats a long long break from the music scene. ?

That to me is very worthy of consideration when looking at possible conspiracy theories

Title: Re: Speculation as to why CD may be close to arriving Post by: Lord Kayoss on March 28, 2006, 01:38:08 PM where are those 6 pearl jam songs?? i would love to hear those....... Are you kidding!? I was never a fan of Pearl Jam, but even I can tell the music has gotten so horribly worse with each new album. I can't imagine how doped up and zombified Eddie Vedder is at this point. I wouldn't be surprised if the new album has nothing but static on it with Eddie reciting Chaucer in the background with a baby rattle. Title: Re: Speculation as to why CD may be close to arriving Post by: Sam on March 28, 2006, 02:16:20 PM For Axl to give up now and not even release whatever he's been working on would be horrible. I gotta figure that we'll hear something at some point. Maybe CD will be released posthumoniously in many years, but we will hear something someday.
Title: Re: Speculation as to why CD may be close to arriving Post by: oldgunsfan on March 28, 2006, 02:48:44 PM Axl will be perfecting it till the day he dies.....
Wow...he's so cool  Title: Re: Speculation as to why CD may be close to arriving Post by: //JK75 on March 28, 2006, 03:34:00 PM Pure speculation, but lots of other signs recently point to a release "soon." Anybody who says that hasn't listened to a whole pearl jam album in years. Not only that but there is a thread over in Bad Obsession where you can talk about them. This is the Guns N' Roses Board. Title: Re: Speculation as to why CD may be close to arriving Post by: Eclipsed107 on March 28, 2006, 04:08:27 PM Peral Jam is coming out with a new cd? ugh :crying:
Title: Re: Speculation as to why CD may be close to arriving Post by: oldgunsfan on March 28, 2006, 04:15:18 PM because people have nothing better to do since they don't have CD to listen to :hihi:

That to me is very worthy of consideration when looking at possible conspiracy theories Agreed. Considering the number of song titles we've had over the past years and the fact that we had no leaks until January, that's a pretty amazing coincidence. What are you so unhappy about? $20 says you haven't listened to a pearl jam album in years, like that other guy said.? This the longest break pearl jam has had in between albums (3 years, mind you, not 15), and the leaked demos are actually pretty amazing.? I'll send them to you or whoever else wants them if you send me a PM, although I have a feeling you've already made up your mind about how they sound.? Quote This is one of those threads which should not exist at all.. If you think this then I have an idea for you:? Don't read the topic and then don't post in it and it will go away quicker. Sorry, but sometimes you guys confuse me. Back on topic, hopefully CD is on the way.? Perhaps we are in the midst of the marketing strategy right now is all i was trying to get at.? A few filler tracks on the CD won't make up for the sour taste already created by the radio stuff. Title: Re: Speculation as to why CD may be close to arriving Post by: mikegiuliana on April 10, 2006, 11:49:49 AM there's always a theory behind everything... :hihi: I can't believe there is still no word, axl might just give us a few new tracks like he did years ago play them we'll have the boots and he won't release an album unless he tries a USA tour././.
