I think this is a little more accurate, but some words are inaudible...like the first like, I think it's 'I'd know' but it could be 'I knew' - but I think 'I'd know' makes more sense. There's a 'but' that might be a 'that' but I think it's a 'but' So go ahead correct these, but please please please for the sake of my sanity, don't 10 people reply saying how 'spot on' and awesome obviously incorrect lyrics that don't even make sense are. I used dave-gnfnr2k lyrics as a backbone and made changes to it in italics. I especially think that "a twist of fate" is more likely to be "a twisted fate" and "avoid/abort the invitation" is actually "abhor the invitation." Axl most likely means that you (the person he is addressing) won't suffer the aggravation at all, but using the word regret is just a little confusing at first. It's definately what he sings though.
