No. ?There is no specific time frame in which libertad will be released. ?I would imagine he would care less about VR.

Thats what I was thinking... One of my friends mentioned it and it got me thinking if he was pissed enough to launch CD at the same time as Libertad just to steal any thunder that VR migh garnish.

Absolutely not. That would be dumb... you still have to think of a single consumer with the ability to drop $17.99 on a cd once a month... I think most hard core Slash and Duff fans, as well as VR fans generally, will ultimately end up buying Chinese Democracy (for comparison and curiousity if nothing else)... but they're not going to buy it if it hits the same day that Libertad hits.... they'll spend their money on Libertad... and CD needs to have the FULL ATTENTION of all GN'R (new and original line-up) fans for it to explode on the charts out of the gate.

The best scenario for both bands would be for Chinese Democracy to hit first... followed by Libertad in 6 weeks or so... followed by GN'R's second new album in the next few months after Libertad... that's how you max sales, generate hype and get a rivalry going...

I don't think he's that much of a prick, to do that.? In any event, he'd still never have CD ready by the time VR releases their next album!? ? But, does he care about VR?? Of course he does!? It has Slash & Duff in it, and you can't tell me he hasn't been checking it all out from day one!? And I think the success of VR has motivated him, once again, to get off his obsessive compulsive ass, and make an attempt to "show them up".? ?There's a lot of animosity that drives this shit forward....? ?

i think he'll release the cd whenever it's 100% done (including cover, mastering, legal stuff and whatever keeps him from releasing it). he could care less when the new vr album hits the shelves. of course i hope cd is out before libertad : ok:

I think Axl has enough on his mind, with the tour coming up and all. He probably couldn't care less. I think we will see CD when it?s done, whether or not Libertad is ready for released (or released already).

Lets say Libertad sells 2 million like Contraband... To outsell five times it would have to sell 10 million units.
That will never happen ever. Not in this day and age where Hard Rock is no where near mainstream.
