Title: Spin magazine reviews Chinese democracy??
Post by: SWINGTRADER on March 22, 2006, 09:40:58 PM
someone at MYGNR  posted this :

Friend just called me from an airport in Cleveland, him and I have a bet on if Chinese Democracy will come out before May 1st or not. Apparently he has the new Spin magazine and Chuck Klosterman reviewed the album. He specifically mentioned song titles that were not ones that were played live or leaked, one song was entitled "Sunday Morning Strip Bar" or something like that and another was "Cowboy Song". It also mentioned Rhiad, CITR and Silkworms. There were specific references to the liner notes which credited Zakk Wylde as a guitarist on a few songs. Sorry I cant post a link Im stuck at work but if anyone has seen the new Spin or lives near a place that sells magazines go get it. If Im wrong I apologize.

     Has anybody heard about this???

Well, at least this made me go to www.spin.com and they have a poll up. ?It asks who's the most improved rock star, and Axl Rose is on there. ?Scott Weiland is there, too. ? :)

It's an April Fool's Day joke people. #5 in the little known facts section says it's just a joke. I already read it at the store today. It's funny though.

Look, there's a full page CD review in the SPIN magazine that came out today. It's an April Fool's Day joke written by Chuck Klosterman. It's just a joke, not a real review. I already read it at the store, it seemed real until you read #5 in the little known facts section, where he says april fool's. Says things like there's a 14 minute rock-rap song, a duet with Dave Pirner, & covers of 'Think About You', & a reggae version of Thin Lizzy's 'Cowboy Song'. It's a joke.
