I'm going to be there.  Anyone else going to see Dizzy and the guys?  Should be a great show.  One of the few that Dizzy is actually going to be a part of.

Dizzy has alway given broad answers.  He's much too loyal to give out information that isn't already known.

what kind of music do they play?

Well, for the first time ever... they are booked as "Dizzy Reed performing the music of Guns N' Roses."  I am assuming a heavy set list of GNR.  Usually they are booked as "Dizzy Reed of Guns N' Roses"  or "Hookers & Blow."  But they play the usual classic rock.  Very decent cover band.

When will Hookers n' Blow tour Eroupe??

I dont think Dizzy will be there man.

He'll be at the Webster and along with only two other venues.

There is, I think, a good chance that Dizzy will be able to be a bit more specific in his answers by then....

It looks like the tour is mostly put together, and things seem to be happening fast.  I THINK we're going to hear something from the band pretty soon (maybe by the end of the week?), but we'll see.

I'm hoping Dizzy can make the Foxwoods: Hard Rock Cafe show in April. Saw them last year at that venue and it was kick ass!

Anyone think GN'R could use H&B as smoke for a 'secret warm-up gig?' They certainly would have the audience for it.

Is Axl still in NYC?

If so, my bet would actually be on the Webster show for that to happen if it was going to.

Strangely enough, I'll be down at Foxwoods on the 30th and 31st.  I'll do lunch at the Hard Rock one of those days and see if I can get any info out of anyone.

I really don't think GNR will have a practice gig at the Hard Rock in Foxwoods. ?Image the draw that would bring from the casino that is RIGHT there?! ?LOL. ?Actually, thinking about it... that'd be amazing.

I'm gonna go to the Webster show!! ;D  I'm thinking it's the last time I get to see Dizzy up close like that for a long time :lol 

As for the theory of a warm up gig at the Websters.....I don't think it's gonna be there at least.  The show is booked for the Underground, which is itsy bitsy.  If it were booked for the big theatre, I'd think differently.

Still, while it's small...it's got the right sorta atmosphere, ya know? And given it's a hard ticket show, they COULD still do it.  Though Axl would have to actually do a "Roxy" type show, and not one of his huge stage productions.

It won't be next door at the Underground.  If you look at www.webstertheater.com you will see there will be in the actual Webster Theater.  I think Troy of HnB posted it wrong on the MySpace and on www.hookersnblowme.com.

The rest of the band will be in LA since rehearslas start this week. Which makes me believe Dizzy won't be at these shows.

So they don't have any other engagments other than GnR ones?

And this is one of a couple of shows that Dizzy confirmed he'll be able to make?

Wouldn't surprise me if they all got on a plane to Bradley....

I mean...what better rehersal than a warm up show, eh?

Stop it, you're getting me excited.  Should be a cool show even without Axl if it is indeed a tribute to GNR.  But if Axl showed up, my goodness, I'd kill myself for not being there.  I might have to go just so I don't have to kill myself.

Well I live in CT, which is where the Webster Theatre is.  So I can't exactly make it to any of the shows overseas.  Again I seriously doubt Axl would show up to the Webster, but regardless that lineup sounds pretty accomplished.  I'm sure they could put on a good show, a GNR tribute.

I saw 'em last year...they were pretty good.

Certainly worth the 10 bucks....and, if you're single, have nothing else going on that night, there are worse (and more expensive) ways to spend a night in Hartford.

He has been in NY its not that far away........ Webster is a good place to meed 15 year old girls haha.
