Title: Could tour be what axl was talking about for "music this year", letsstoplistenin Post by: dman1991 on March 17, 2006, 09:30:17 AM I was just thinking, in the rolling stone interview axl never said THE ALBUM IS COMING OUT THIS YEAR<, he said PEOPLE WILL HEAR MUSIC THIS YEAR, that could just be the concerts with maybe the leaks, who knows what that asshole is doing, and quite frankly i dont even give a fuck anymore, my next post will come when the cd is in my hand, until then i am boycotting everything new gnr related(not old gnr or velvet revolver), no more leaks, forums, etc.... I think everyone else should follow me in this and say fuck of axl, sanctuary and whoever else is involved until we at least get a piece of news that isnt a response to a yes or no question and that isnt about a soldout show in fucking europe. What axl is doing and has done to north america(like cancel 2 shows in philly, riot in toronto, show canceled in phoenix,plus the rest of that tour was cancelled, etc..) is complete bullshit and we need to stop feeding into this, he does not deserve our attention nor does anyone or thing related to the new gnr, i hope people will agree with me and let me know if u support my idea, maybe if we completely cut them off theyll give us something, north america made gnr, and im pretty sure we can break em too, we been gettin jerked off for way too long, thank u for listening.

Dude, we are on the cusp here. Why would anyone boycott anything related to nuGNR at this point? And North America didn't make GNR. They have a more rabid fan base abroad than in the US. You are confusing me. This guy would be one of the first in line for tickets if they sold them in his town / city. Your concept of a boycott doesn't really apply here as, well, I guarantee you that the people at Rio, NovaRock, in Helsinki, Oslo, etc, etc, really couldn't care less that you've decided to quit on all things GNR. He may not deserve your attention, in your opinion - yet apparently enough people feel he does to have to add a second date at a tour stop. North america was a big part of gnr's fame, I mean teh strip and all that.. But this is now axl, the gnr days of old are gone.. Today it's more about supporting axl rose instead of gnr..
