What about 'The Stone Roses' probably the best album of the 80's besides Appetite, but it aint heavy enough for you guys! first off, Stone Roses are virtually unknown in North America they had like one radio song secondly, that single was Love Spreads from Second Coming (which was released in 94) Title: Re: "Greatest Rock&Roll Album of All Time" Survivor - 1980's (Nominations) Post by: axl_rose_700 on March 22, 2006, 09:32:40 AM the worst nominations ive ever seen, all those albums range from terrible to average. Title: Re: "Greatest Rock&Roll Album of All Time" Survivor - 1980's (Nominations) Post by: Backslash on March 22, 2006, 09:47:55 AM So, if it aint known in N America it ain't good or worth talkin about? Good point... us here in North America don't hear a lot of fantastic music that comes out, yet the music is no less relevant because we don't hear it... I like to think that the music industry expands outside of North America and that music doesn't have to be heard by us to be considered "great." I'm sure there are some albums that were only released in North America that never made it to other parts of the world. Does this make these albums any less great? I don't think so.
