Here Today... Gone To Hell!

This statement is from M. Shadows, the singer of Avenged Sevenfold about Axl and Scott's little feud. There's some interesting stuff in it.

I did see some of that.
I feel AXL is a better singer, GNR was a better band (legends, STP wasn't ever close to that status), and I love the 12 New GNR songs that I have. So I'm not going to say anymore then that I usually root for the bad guy and since AXL is public enemy #1 and is my favorite singer of all time, I'll have to go with AXL. That being said, I think Scott is great and I love the Velvet Revolver record. I sure hope Slash gets back with AXL, but I doubt it will happen soon.
And for the record, AXL was nothing but a nice, down to earth, great guy to talk to when I met him. Very respectful and generous, taking pictures with everyone and just seemed to be having a good time.

He came very close to getting bashed by Weiland lol. Of course Scott can just come back and say Avenged has no status at all. I have seen a A7 video and they look like they copied 80's Motley Crue...just without the good music.

Does that mean he has an advanced copy of CD and it only has 12 songs and not 13 like Axl stated at the Korn Party?

Does that mean that of the 13 songs on the album only one song is from 2002 the rest are either the leaked songs or songs we've never heard?

Ive said many months ago when I first heard Ax7, that I bet they would open for GNR......got lots of flack about that...... but water under the bridge.....I was right , I do know that.!

If Axl is giving out copies.. Then we should be able to get our hands on it soon enough.

I seriously wouldnt doubt they become the American tour support. BTW they kick hardcore as live. I think see abit of his youth in these guys, and respects how much these guys truly are sincere about thier love and admiaration, Especially M Shadows, since they started I read many old interviews, dating back a few yrs. And consistentaly, he has always cited GNR and axl as his bigest influence. So I dont get why people want to say they are EMO, they really are not, not even close. But its good to see this. PErsonally I havent liked most bands, for the lat 10 yrs, Im 36 and when I heard these guys I was like whoah.  Kind amake me feel 17 again. THats a good thing

Pretty weak...take a side dude.  The worst thing anyone can do is not take a side if they're gonna get involved in something.  You can tell he is a HUGE Axl fan, but didn't have the balls to even hint that VR is nothing next to Guns.

What is the problem.  He likes the new Gnr songs and VR songs.  Although, I think you can tell which one he likes better.  Plus he flat out said Axl is the better singer.  What, are you disapointed that he didn't stoop to a 4th grade level like some other people?

I'm quite happy with the way he responded. Very down to earth, not bashing Scott, calling him gay. I think this kind of response looks better in the press, it's a better way to defend Axl instead of just plain name calling.

i agree... he didn't need to bash no one to defend Axl.
i'm on Axl's Side to, but i don't feel the need to cover the fact that i enjoy VR, i think Axl is better, but that doesn't make me hate slash, duff and matt, not even scott.

I agree-I'm 33, getting older...lol-I like both singers, both bands-at this point I just hope they all keep making music

hey i'm just posting the most likely songs. it's synyster(guitarist) who has the CD with the songs in italics on, though i'm sure he'd have shown the others aswell.

It's possible he has an advance copy.  I remember Duff saying he had Nirvana's Nevermind six months before it came out.
