How the fuck does this story varify your theory? ?Based on the way the guy chose to describe Axl, he is obviously not a fan, so the story is going to automaticly paint Axl in a bad light. ?That being said, the story even states that "was tolerating the sloppy dude's boozy line of questioning until some spittle landed on his contacts." If any thing is shows that he is more tollerant thn he has been in the past. ?I guess in the Axl haters minds, he should just take the abuse of drunken fans and enjoy other peoples spit in his eye, intentional or not. Plus, I assume Axl wears contacts he can use overnight, instead of the ones with the 8 or so hour recommended timeframe. The overnight contacts tend to be less flexible, and if he'd get saliva in there, it could be terribly irritating. Add the (low) possibility of an HIV infection and you realize Axl might've had some other things in mind than punching the guy.

Lasik eye surgery uses lasers to change the lense of the eye.  I had it done on both eyes a few years ago and I love it!  There are guidelines and restrictions though.  Some people can't get it for some reasons, like gloucoma, if the eyes are changing rapidly (like a kid still growing), or if someone is to elderly (NOT thinking this is the prob.  My dad is 47 and he got it recently)  Maybe his script is not bad enough to need the surgery? In both mine and my dad's case, we couldn't see clearly past our noses :hihi:

I see better then glasses, because glasses usually has scratches on them.  I see better, I think,  then contacts also.  The only problem is that there are "halos" around lights at night because my eyes dialate (sp?) beyond the corrected area then. All in all, the surgery made my sight MUCH better imo.

BTW My contact lenses are for up to 30 days of extended wear.  ;D ( but I never wear them overnight cos my optician recommends not to.
They are more flexible than nomal hard contact lenz.

It's safe to say Axl has a reputation for being volatile.... I don't you have to know the guy personally to make that statement. I think he can definitely handle a tour abroad... not sure about North America yet. Plus, I think he is being a little cavalier by partying and being  in the public so much.... I'd have to find it on the net. I had to study aids a few years ago and I was even shocked when a doctor said the eye is easiest place to get a disease, and getting spit in the eye is worse than getting spit into an open wound. Saliva holds more bacteria than any other place on your body. And the eye is one of the easiest ways to contract HIV/AIDS. I'm a germaphobe anyway, but that made me even more paranoid.

If I were Axl I would have jumped out of a friggin window to get out of that place.

Well, obviously the story could have been taken out of context. I'm commenting on the article itself, not on what may or may not have happened. If someone spit in my eye, there's a 99.9% chance that the guy would get his ass kicked and then get a loogy in his eye for good measure. But there's that 00.1% chance that I wouldnt react like that. Maybe I would be high/intoxicated, and the situation might "embarass" me cause it happened in front of so many people, and I would just leave. Or maybe you're there with certain people, and you dont want to cause a huge scene. Or not wanting to go to jail over some drunk loser would prevent a confrontation. Or being on certain anti-depressants causes you to 'mellow out' some. These are several reasons why he may have 'fled the scene'. Just because he walks out doesnt mean he's a pussy. James, PageSix is the gossip section of the NYPOST; They really don't follow up on their stories and almost never print a retraction. If a source sees axl run out of the club, then that is what they print, regardless of what happens after.

Back a year or so ago when Paris Hilton's Blackberry was broken into, it was discovered that she was a PageSix source who liked to make up dirt on her celeb adversaries. She apparently was the source for some unsubstantiated gossip about Nick Lachey which to this day has never been confirmed.

Lizzie Grubman did a reality show on MTV during one episode she dials up Page Six to spread a lie about Lindsey Lohan who had snubbed her at her promotion groups junkets.

Take it with a grain of salt. PageSix isn't the complete story and often times it is highly fabricated.

IF this story is true, it does give us a glimpse into his state of mind. IF he fled the scene, and it wasnt because of the alternate reasons I posted earlier, then he is not ready to tour.
