Here Today... Gone To Hell!

There is no photo of the current GNR line-up together anywhere apart from onstage together.

How could this possibly be..? How did nobody snap the band at some backstage moment..?

Can anything be read into this...? Did Axl conciously veer away from taking a Guns N' Roses band photo without the old guys involved..? Was there something telling him at the back of his mind not to pose as Guns N Roses with the 'new' guys..?

I just think it's strange that in six, seven years of this band not once has Axl stood for a photo with his bandmates...  :confused:

It is strange, but I dunno. It's just the nature of this beast. It's no secret that the band (supposedly) is RARELY ever together. Dizzy said MSG '02 was the last time the entire band was together. I do think band photos add some comrodary to the group, we'll see plenty of pics soon I'm sure... :)

well, I've never realised that but you're absolutly right.

I don't know why, but there has to be some concrete reasons.

Maybe Axl is waiting for Chinese Democracy to be released, to do these group pictures.

Maybe Axl just never got around to setting up a photo shoot,or maybe he just hates everyone on the band,jk :hihi:

after afd lies era there are barely any photos really from anywhere, lots of the band seperate and axl by himself.. I mean sure there are tons of concert pics from the illusions but they really dropped drastically from afd.. 2002 gnr or 1992 gnr .. ?Not much publicity pics of the band.. Check ou TSI

Well based on all the solo projects side gigs and shit like that we have seen each guy with at least one or another band memebr, it just shows axl wasn't palling around with his band members outside of the studio for any one to even snap a shot.. I'm suprised he never even did a guest vocal live or anything for the hell of it

There's no photos because they aren't a real band. They're just a bunch of guys Axl hired to go on tour with him for whenever he decides to leave his basement.

How many bands get publicity photes of themselves with 0 albums?

Also, maybe a feeling is anyone can go at any time and be replaced, so why bother?

Now that you mention it, places like mtv.com have a pic of the old band when you look them up

what?s really sad is that people still don?t know the new guys, the 2 question that I ALWAYS heard in 7 years was 1. "They?re back? didn?t the band brake up?" or 2."who?s the band now?" you know? not a Single promotional pic... in RIR3 I remember seeing and old photo (with the old guys) to promote the GNR show at RIR3... Maybe the new band makes Axl look even shorter. ;D

Maybe with the new album will come photos. Who knows? I would not be shocked if there wont be.. Cayuse its GnR and things like this do not seem important to them.

i never thought of this.itd be cool to see some shots of the band all chillin together INCLUDING AXL.theres that photo outside a pub called the rat and parrot in cambden UK but its only dizzy,robin,richie and tommy,thats the only one i know of.

Why take publicity photos now? People coming and people going from the band that we may not even know of. Just sit back, relax...and when you buy C.D. then you can look at the booklet all you like ;-)

Axl, We know your reading this..... How bout a band photo??, That alone would really ram it up slash & duff. you know you should. BTW people.... This album is far from done, If it was done we would be getting news from printing companies, pressing companies etc, saying that its on the way.

I'm with the thought there really isn't a "band". I still think Axl played most of the parts of the band and had some bozos and bucketheads phone in some shit. We've seen recent photos of Axl...there's your band photo! ? :smoking:

one day, when we're all pushin' 85, either a book will be released, or a movie will be made, or some long lost employee will come out and tell all about the last 20 years, and what the fuck actually happened....

until then, all we have are conspiracy theories and unsubsantiated roumors....and official press releases every three years or so...

...this band does not follow the usual route when it comes to promotion, so nothing is predictable, and nothing really surprises me....

..only thing is...the world sits up and listens every time he comes out to play...i just hope that the world doesn't wake up one day and decides not to give a fuck anymore...

I'd like to see him and enjoy his work while i'm still able to do so...

I don't want to talk to my kids about something great which never really happened, but had us all going for years...
