Title: My Mom's Opinion Of Velvet Revolver...
Post by: Markus Asraelius on March 06, 2006, 12:23:39 PM
I played the Contraband CD for my mom a little while ago and she's a big time hard rock fan.

Anyways, she felt that the band of VR was a good band but that they could do much better with a different lead singer. She didn't name names but she felt somebody like Axl Rose could take these songs to a whole 'nother level.

Does anybody agree with this?

Yes, after all, we are all Guns N Roses fans.

I think on Contraband the vocals are ok but the music behind it could be better.. alot better.

Very happy to hear your Mom's opinion on VR and how the songs might be improved with "somebody like Axl Rose".

That said, plenty of threads pitting Axl vs. Scott.
