Post by: Minneapolisnewsman on March 04, 2006, 01:08:15 AM
Does anyone wonder if Pitman is helping engineer and produce Cd?  I have heard, that he excels in these fields. :)

No one really knows anything about the production / engineering of the album.  If Chris does "excell" in it then there's a chance that he's helping out with it.  Chris is obviously in Gn'R for a reason, but the only way we'll find out probably is when (if) the album gets released.

Im sure I read somewhere he co-wrote Madagascar with Axl. That's my favourite of all the new songs, so I suppose, credit where credit's due! He will also be useful live. Remember a lot of guys have added orchestral arrangements to songs on CD (eg Paul Buckmeister) so I assume Pittman will play them live, although personally I don't see that as necessary.

I think it's a good possibility.? : ok:

I got this off Wikipedia ...

(Chris) Pitman had also done sound design work for Arturia.

Arturia is a software company, located in Grenoble, France, and founded in 1999 by Frederic Brun and Gilles Pommereuil, both INPG-qualified engineers.? The company's sole focus is on the development of Electronic Music software and tools.

I'm still hoping CD booklet gets specific on who wrote what, like they did in Illusion CD's-I'm also lookeng forward to producer credits-I'm sure if Chris Pittman co-wrote "Silkworms", chances are he will at least get some type of credit on the other songs-I think songwriting credits/producer credits will tell how just how much was recorded during the last few years-let the lawsuits begin if anyone who is not this project anyomre, and will claim to have written parts of songs.

Dizzy and Pittman wrote Silkworms, but it won't be on the album so I doubt they'll get credited for it there.  ::)
