Paul Tobias has never been in RHCP. a guy named Jesse Tobias was however, for a very short period. Buckethead auditioned for them between Frusciante and Navarro too. I also think the RHCP gig Axl was spotted backstage at was in 1997. Chad Smith didn't recognize him at first, lol. he apparently had short hair and a beard. Also Axl is wearing a RHCP shirt in the Don't Cry video near the end. |
