I know I will just so I can listen to it all day.? My wife thinks I'm an idiot.? :)

Something we have waiting a lifetime for. The only thing that equals this for me was with Revenge of the Sith (being a fan). I waited since '83 to see the events that occured in Sith. I fucking swear I will feel like I won the gold medal at the Olympics the day Chinese Democracy gets released. There is no fucking way I will be getting any work (or anything for that matter) done, when this dream gets released.

New releases come out every Tuesday, but they arrive usually the previous Thursday or Friday. So I will open a copy and listen to it constantly until I can buy it on Tuessday. No I won't steal a copy and leak it onto the internet. That's weak.

Axl helped teach me that expectations can be a real bitch. I hope some of you morons talking about the "best day of your life" are taking a minute to appreciate the day at hand and not build it up to some indefinite point in the future that's probably never gonna happen. If this album ever comes out I won't have to take a sick day, I'll probably have retired already! GNR is dead, Long live GNR! And Axl can suck my left one! Even Madagascar's lyrics are sub par to what GNR did. Too bad, I've waited my whole (literaly entire) adult life for this album. I actually became sad and then pissed and then disgusted when I heard IRS. IRS is worse lyrically than Nickelback. I haven't like "new" music for over 10 years now. I guess I'm still waiting. What a waist of Music History.. Axl's music was at a place in history woth Zeplin, Beatles, Stones, it's like his life started mirroring MJ's ever since he dissed him at the MTV awards. The guy needs help. Not to attack anyone but those of you who like this new Axl, what other bands do you like?? I'd then go and buy it and drive to the lake and park my car and lay back in my seat and listen to it completely uninterupted from start to finnish while over looking the lake. I just kinda lost too much interest in the album to worry? about booking time off work and needing to listen to it alone in my car while starring over the lake.? Sadly it doesn't hold quite that much importance to me anymore. I can't wait but it's no longer on par with a U2 release for me. :no: It was at one point.
Also I'd like to know what is the point of buying more than one copy? Why not just buy one and then if you scratch it or lose it buy another one when you need to. I love the way certain tracks on a new album stand out immediately, but you don't really get the nuances until a few more listens. And, knowing Axl, the music will be complex and many spins will be required to really "get" the album.

The album is not coming out at all this year, the band has made no statement about it and is continuing living in the past with the Appetite for Destruction shows. I really feel bad for Robin Finck, who is really talented and it is going to waste in this near cover band. Now that the day is almost here, my immidiate plan is to go shopping for pizza, snacks, soda, whatever i want sparing no expense, early in the morning, and then pick up Chinese Democracy at the record store the second it opens, then go home totally euphoric and listen to it and enjoy myself for the rest of the day.
