You haven't seen this before? Anyone can add stuff to that page... Title: Re: Interesting page... very credible! Post by: Thorned Rose on February 27, 2006, 06:03:39 PM oh... they just seem like they are credible, everything is true on there.
Sorry. Lip lock, jock and cock this thread then. : ok: Title: Re: Interesting page... very credible! Post by: Continental Drift on February 27, 2006, 06:09:00 PM Anyone can add on to it... but I've definitely noticed that that page is rarely if ever successfully edited. Within hours of someone posting something new- it's quickly edited for accuracy by someone... I wouldn't be surprised if the band or Sanctuary has someone watching that site- and it could be a conduit for some future information.... they have some real detailed sh1t on there... like Pitman joining the band in 1998? I had no idea about that personally... I always thought he had come in in late 2000 right before the Vegas show.

Title: Re: Interesting page... very credible! Post by: nonlinear on February 27, 2006, 06:24:53 PM i wouldn't say it's very credible, there's a bunch of bullshit on there like song names, etc. they say that 'chinese democracy' can be best described as grunge (yea right, that song is nothing like that genre).

Wiki is anything but credible. At one time, it might have been, but it has outgrown its usefulness. There's been several instances of people planting false info to smear targets, you have nolife clowns who undo any changes because they don't agree with you, and there are outright vandals. Site admins are difficult to contact, and worse, the vandalism reporting options are slow, overly complicated, and not sufficient to resolve disputes. It's a nice project in theory, but a database that anyone can edit leaves the integrity of information highly suspicious. If Wiki wants to be taken seriously, they need to create a board of editors of some sort to oversee the project. Title: Re: Interesting page... very credible!
